Teesworks Sinter Plant Phase 2 Blow Down

Phase 2 complete!
At 7pm yesterday evening we made another great stride toward a Net Zero future by carrying out the safe demolition of Phase 2 of the Sinter Plant.
Kevin Mcelvany who started his career at Teesworks as an apprentice for British Steel back in the 70’s, worked his way around the various plants at the steel works finishing with his final role at the Sinter Plant as Plant Manager until the steelworks closure. We are proud to have had Kevin’s input into the project and for initiating yesterday’s explosive event by pressing the button!
