As we formed in the mid-60’s we quickly realised the benefits of the controlled use of explosives within the demolition industry. Over the last half a century we have employed explosive demolition techniques on 100’s of projects and have continually and consistently developed our in-house explosive demolition division. With 3 full time explosive engineers, able to draw on over 70 years of combined experience, we have built a world-renowned reputation for delivering professional, safe and efficient explosive demolition schemes across an ever expanding range of sectors including utilities, infrastructure and the industrial sector.

THe people involved with this wanton destruction will hopefully live long enough to regret it. Right at the top of this resides demons, lesser demons and sub humans.
The plant was on its way out, same with West Burton and High Marnham before it. Whether or not you think coal is a good source of energy keeping older plants open is simply dangerous and uneconomical (especially when they're so expensive to continue running, I believe it cost 400mil to keep West Burton going for another 6 months though this could be completely wrong as I've not found a source in my quick google search)
I have 55 years experience in generation: they lie to you .This is all about tearing down plant to enable thir boondoogles.@@DENPTrains
Love watching videos of blow downs by Brown and Masons ,so professional in what they do . I enjoyed my experiences whilst working for them 😊
Not me, although I do agree they are good at what they do(and i love watching controlled explosions). But this is the 2nd of their videos I've found, and what I'm seeing here is a source of inexpensive, reliable energy being destroyed, probably in favor of the much more expensive, unreliable windmills and solar. There was another video of these guys demolishing an enormous old AMC auto production factory in Kenosha. What we are watching here, is the demolition of this country, one factory and one power plant at a time. The politicians and billionaires pushing for "clean energy to save the environment", are the same people who sent almost our entire industrial sector to China and other environmentally irresponsible countries, where they are pumping out vastly more pollution and CO2 than they ever did when they operated here in America. Al Gore, Clinton, Obama and Biden KNEW that would happen, but they made it happen anyway! Now they want to destroy what's left of our industrial sector, allegedly to "protect the environment". In reality, they are just weakening us, emboldening and strengthening our enemies, and destroying the environment in the process.

@@HighlanderNorth1 The plant was on it's last legs. Designed to operate for 30 years and operated for 50 instead, West Burton was the same, it was far more expensive to keep them open and would have been unsafe to do so.

I worked on demolition from brown and mason ,a scouser guy was flicking plastic square sheets around the turbine room when we was cutting them up a sheet of plastic missed my face by centre metres i reported the guy because he was there king of forman who went about on a street sweeper down corridors,no action was taken on him ,i was sacked,,a brown disgrace and son,

Chimney went down on 24/1/21 and cooling towers are rumoured to go on 6th June.

Hey guys, that demolition yesterday of the chimney was so amazing, I hunt demolitions down... this is the 2nd demolition of chimneys in my area. Tilbury power station was amazing, I have been given 3 pieces of tilbury power station... I still have it locked up in a glass cage... keep cleaning up the world guys! ✌️

Impressive demolition. My Grandad and my uncle both worked on the Construction of Kingsnorth around 50 years ago. I'm sure my uncle would be sad to see this video. Any idea of when the chimney goes down?
