In the State of Virginia it used to be a law against price gouging. What do you call what grocery stores and farm stores and even Thrift Stores are doing Now????? That law was the whole USA.
Just an idea, you could have 2 fenced area for longhorns. Put them in one area and grow hay in the other. When you cut that hay, move the longhorns over to that area and grow hay on the other area. There is a small homestead, on my way to Church, that I see do that. I love watching your vlogs, grandpa Adler, and K&S get out. So amazed at your progress.

Cross fencing is a good idea into generally equal segments, so you can rotate them to avoid over grazing and reduce parasite load.

You may have thought of this, but to help locate where you want fences, building, or any new trails, try downloading your property satellite view. Save it as a BMP, or JPG, and use draw to place in all your improvements. You probably will have to ignore all the trees and the structures you have taken down. This may give a visual idea for the two of you to make your future plans.

Hey there Chad... at Walmart they sell children's yard tools. Little rakes, hoes etc. They are far better made then the adult tools they sell and the rake or hoe would be PERFECT for that feed bin.

I think it's great that you are going slow and doing this farm build as debt free as you can. Paying cash on the barrel often gets you better deals than taking out loans. You are getting there, Mama June and Tipsy will have shelter for their calves should they chose to use it. The animals have plenty of food and water, (just look at Bruce) and are healthy. You guys are doing good! 💖💖💖

Get her drained. Don't need fancy equipment. Shed looks nice. You have a lot to play with there. Alpacas should be happy. Still a lot of room. This will look nice once it all starts to come together. Talk to Kevin @ HHF, they use a mineral for their goats that help keep ticks, flies off. Find out if the garlic salt is ok for cows, it’ll take a while to start working so keep up the spray in the meantime. Redmond or whatever the company’s name is has all kinds of formulas for different animals, I’m sure a rep will be at the Oakie convention. Good luck!

Beautiful Rae when your man is the size of a small mountain you need a skillet and rolling pin to move them. And my great grandmother always said there are two ways to use them and husband has a choice of how he wants them used. Now I will let the husbands think on that. By the way, my great grandma had a truly epic sense of humor.

The birds are starlings, native to Britain. The early colonists were home sick and brought these birds to remind them of home. They swarm in flocks of thousands and fly in swales like a school of fish. Here in northern Alabama an entire Grove of big trees will be covered by a roosting flock.
When you turn water on for cows you need to go ahead and set a 10 or 15 minute timer on phone so you don’t forget to turn it off😂
Pink doesn’t go with green. Maybe yellow. Do you know someone who can paint a mural. A floral mural would look good or one of animals- Fred and and your emu

The bigger one is going to freezer camp. Love your Longhorns. They look like the native African cattle here in South Africa. Here they are known as cattle that can withstand droughts and diseases.

Chad seems to me like you need to build you a small step up platform that you can pull your grain bin next to so you can step up and stand on top of it to retrieve your food grain, that might help you get it out the top and then use your lower chute when your grain gets low., That is after Bruce inspects it!!
