Taking the little man on a walk in the woods is starting him out right. Little man's future playground. I loved to play in the creek as a child. Memories are made like this as a child. 💕

That little fella is going to be endlessly entertained by that creek when he gets a little older. So much fun ahead for him and Ira.

Nothing more peaceful than the sound of a creek. What a wonderful place for Woodrow and Ira to grow up in.
I remember my grandmother, many years ago telling me, that instead of asking “why me Lord,” she asked, “why NOT me.” That was many decades ago, and grandma is long gone, but that was a lesson that I draw strength from today. 🙏🏻🥰

Corie thank you for being obedient to The Lord,It's been one of those days for me, I'm sitting here with tears running down my face! Praise God For His loving kindness, today has been one of those days for me , I know He is Sovereign, I've been crying about and missing my baby sister who passed in April unexpectedly, And I just have my days where it's so hard not having her here on Earth with us any more, I miss her voice,her laughter ,her smile our conversations about our grandbabies,But God used you today to remind me once again that it's gonna be ok, Thank Corie, thank you for sharing your precious little Woodrow with us And this beautiful walk by the creek and your love for the Lord !!Much love and prayers for y'all 🙏❤️

Yes its all anybody needs.A nice house out in the woods with wildlife and a gentle sound of that stream is so relaxing .It puts u closer to God for sure.
It is beautiful in the woods. We have 20 plus acres and we had our kids in the woods when ever we could, mushroom hunting ,hiking. Now the grandsons all love the outdoors. God is so good to us!
The sound of the water & the little drops of water on the leaves is wonderful. So satisfying & peaceful.

Such a beautiful trek through the woods. I could just feel how it felt to be there, and as you were describing the lushness and sounds. I could also just smell how the woods smelled. That kinda sweet and earthy aroma. How very special that little baby Woodrow got to go, even if he was asleep and snug as a lil bug in his mommy’s wrap. Little Woody is safe in his Momma's arms. He's content with every beat of your heart Corie. He knows your voices, and feels Momma and Daddy's love. I can only imagine how excited Austin will be, the day his little boy will be following behind in his Daddy's footsteps. There's no place like the beautiful sounds and scenery of the mountains. Great video of the family’s first walk through the woods. I’m sure the sound of the creek helped put Woody to sleep. It’s great that Woody and Ira are going to experience the same things growing up that you and Katie did.

Oh, my gracious! It felt as if we were right there taking the hike ourselves. This was just what God knew I needed to experience today. Just imagining the unexplainable, wonderful fragrance of the woods is reason to praise God for all of His creation. Nature is amazing and serves innumerable purposes that many people fail to realize. Thank y'all for sharing your lives and life's experiences with us as well as including Scriptures. Although we don't always know the fruit that comes from sharing His Word, the Great Commission is our goal. The light shines for all to see in you, Corie, as well as Austin, Katie, Tipper, and Matt!

So peaceful ❤ My husband hunts. I remember the first (and last) time I went with him, I balled my eyes out when he shot a deer. I named her Clementine and my husband said, "you don't name your food!" 😂 she was so beautiful and good eatin'! She fed us well.

Thank you for that video Corie. Being in the woods with the sound of the creek is a wonderful place for sure. I see God so much in His beautiful creation. You spoke of trials that we go through. When I went through trials growing up, I would escape to the woods and find a cozy spot all enclosed with trees and just sit and be quiet and listen. I knew that God was there even though of course I cold not see Him. However it was almost like I could hear Him. The sound if the creek, the sound if the wind blowing through the trees, the birds singing. It was where I would lay my worries and fears before God. I always went home knowing that no matter what I was facing God was there beside me. Such comfort.
The boys are going to play in that area and creek just like their mamas did what a blessing
You have Deer that lives in your backyard….lucky! We have 5acres surrounded by trees and woods…one day I was walking to my mailbox and saw a baby fawn w spots lying in the grass in our front yard. Blessed to witness it. Something about nature ❤

Thanks for letting us accompany y'all for Woodrow's first trek along Stamey Creek. The first of many adventures in the woods. He and Ira will have a blast carrying on the traditions of their Mamas and Aunties.
Good for all three of you to take a stroll in the woods. Does a body good! I am a 67 yr old female and I love to fish and hunt small game. Have my whole adult life.

The first of Woodys many trips outdoors. I sometimes hunt behind my house but it’s difficult for me to be within walking distance to my house and not think about other things I need to be doing at home. I love what you shared, I’ve said many times in my sermons, if a christian hasn’t faced trials and tribulations yet they are a weak christian. I am who I am today through those trials that I’ve put my faith in Christ to get me through. As in Ecclesiastes 11:8, I remember those dark days and they help me see what God has brought me through. God gave me your friendship through one of the darkest times of my life. God bless you.
The creeks and the sound of the water running is one of my favorite things about the NC mountains.

I moved around as a kid, but at one place there was a wooded acre or two right across the street from me, and I spent a lot of time there. Being in nature is really good for kids. It helps ease the anxiety of life and feel more connected to God. I think that's why rural folk are generally more religious. So glad your kiddo has so much beautiful, natural space around him.

Your first house was really nice, however, I think the house you have now, and everything surrounding it, is better for you since you have started your family! There are no stairs that you have to tote the baby and groceries on, either. Woody will love playing in your beautiful backyard and the creek, too! God bless you three!

I never got that but made sure my children never moved. They’re in MN and know that state like the back of their hands. It’s such a blessing to be able to give your child a Home 🏡🦌🌿🌟🌦️🌊🌲🪶

I live in N.C. also. I got all my grandkids lifetime hunting and fishing license before they were a year old. It cost about the same as an annual license will cost for 5 years once they turn 16.

I grew up with a creek as well, and my happiest childhood memories are all the years spent at that creek.
The walk by the creek and seeing the trees and ferns nice; the verse you spoke of; I don’t ask why cuz it’s meant to be or that’s God’s plan we just have to figure it out. Lucky family were y’ll live ;; so you don’t put no corn down; all up to what you do. Ty’s for the walk and seeing ur son. Love them deer. 🦌
