Amazing story about the origin of this property. From pig sty/cow shed, into what is now a real beautiful house. I live in South Wales UK. There are so many parts of the French country side that resemble Pays de Galles. With the exception of having less traffic, better seasonal weather, and better quality of life. Hence, just a couple of the reasons we hope to be able to retire to some part of beautiful France, in a few years time . Wow!! 😍🥰 Absolutely amazing entrance inside the main house with all the rooms being so light and airy, and immaculate throughout. The present owners must be really proud to showcase such a wonderful home like this. I for one certainly would! Thank you so much for the tour. Philip and Diane (Wales).
Lol... Did he really say it was designed by Laura Ashley? Buying items from the chain of Laura Ashley shops doesn't mean you can say Laura Ashley designed your house 😂 Not least because she's been dead for nearly 40 years!
Most of the Design houses have in house designers who take over when the founder dies or sells the company. It’s nothing to laugh or make fun of someone about. Maybe his English didn’t allow him to say it perfectly. Either way he doesn’t seem like someone who lies. They probably hired the designer on some kind of consultation service advice.

Love this home and love this part of the world. The rolling hills near Lourdes in the midi pyranees are just so pretty and relaxing.
