They are holiday homes rather than full time homes. You use the house for your holidays then when not using it the operator Domaine & Demeure rents it out for you and shares in the rental income.
@@languedocpropertyfinders2195 understand that, I'd be interested if one is restricted in time spent in the property .. how many weeks a year are owners permitted to stay and how many weeks one would have to rent out to make maintenance payment. About to retire and would like to spend months there as opposed to a few weeks.. can you answer that for me.. TIA
Hi there. I think months would likely mean you would miss out on rental income to the extent that you would feel the cost of the management charges. Average use by owners is around 6 weeks per year. Hope that helps

I liked the gardener's house which was sold in no time but i actually love this one very much..however the price is hefty ( depends on the amount of revenues it generates) ..it's absolutely gorgeous ....a dream home. How big ( hectares) is the domaine please ? ( i am asking because i like walking and within a domaine one can feel safe to walk even in the evening when the sun is down -)
Hi there. The domaine is very large. I'll have to check the exact size but it's safe to say that you can walk for a long way in safety, even if you venture out of the domaine itself the area is a very safe area.
