Tarot is really a pioneer metal band for Finns and because of that the respect for them is big. They started in the 80s and the band was also active when Marko was in Nightwish. When Nightwish world tour was over and Tuomas hid to make demos for the next album, Tarot usually was active. They made albums and toured. Thing about Marko is... he has done a lot. Just check his wiki page, Discography and collab sections are hilarious.
The guitarist is Marko's big brother! He's also done a trio with his brother and one of his twin boys on drums. If you type Marko into RUclips you will be amazed at just what he's done. He's been a guest vocalist on a few songs since he left Nightwish. They are all brilliant, I think Waltari 'below zero' would be fun place to start 😁

I absolutely love the intense looks from Marko. Damn, those eyes...I love the lyrics to this song, the story of continuing to search for adventure after you have defeated the enemy. It seems to take place in space, lots of references to the stars, the void, falling enemy ships. The verse "The skies are open for atomic vikings to roam / And when the quest is ended, Valhalla will then be our home" really hits home to me. And yes, the ending bass cords are freaking awesome. Can you hear the inspiration of Dio in Marko's early vocal style? That was Marko's brother on guitar. This was a 25th anniversary re-recording from the original band members. Both suggestions wholeheartedly seconded! Waltari and Tarot were both a big part of my youth during the '90s. Saw them live so many times. Those folks did lots of stuff that imho has stood the test of time in the best possible manner. Waltari, especially, did brilliant genre bending cross-overs that no-one else did at least back in the day. They even did the best sounding deathmetal symphony ever, "Yeah! Yeah! Die! Die -- Deathmetal Symphony in Deep C" in collaboration with Avanti! orchestra, an album-long masterpiece that happened before Nightwish even was a thing. I hope the Souls get to reacting some of the mentioned stuff sooner rather than later.

You could start with “When love died”, a rock style song together with Jörn Viggo Lofstad, the talented guitar player for Pagan’s Mind, my favorite metal prog band.
