That museum looks wicked!! So true about how very little we are taught about those parts of the world, here in the western world. That way of life is so foreign to us but Its truly fascinating stuff! Great video!
@@roshiroshi1240 communism/authoritarianism as a governing system and a way of life. A system that we have never lived or can relate to therefore it being so foreign to us.
@calrosnike8 Yes bro, it was completely different at the time. Now it's like that anymore, and the way of life it's very similar to the western world. Thanks for the response 🙏
take the "eye sores" with a grain of salt bcs some ppl are on the opposite politcal party and whatever the party in power builds is apparently bad ^^. Also there is Scanderbeg statues all over Europe bcs bro was a mastermind of warfare, too bad a lot of ppl dont know much about him
Yes! I’m so glad we’ve been exposed to this history because it has made us incredibly interested to learn more. I’m slightly overwhelmed with how much there is to learn about these places we’re visiting😂 the Balkans is an amazing place!
No one sees the pyramid as an “eyesore” today….it was an eyesore before it was renovated since it was completely left abandoned and dilapidated. Now it’s a modern center for IT students.
@MarshallandSabrina Also that kind of cloud that you referred as an eysore , in reality is a piece of contemporary art, made from a famous japanese artist that was brought to Tirana, after being in the center of London for a couple of years. It needs to be cleaned a little bit now, but still a cool piece of art 🙂
Love Albania! I bought a house there last year.
That’s awesome!! We love it too 😊 it’s such a great place
Where? Saranda?

Thank you! We know there’s soooo much more to learn but this trip was a good intro to the country and got us interested to look into it more.

Great video, we can't wait to get here. I just hope the city is as walkable in the winter! 😆
Oooo yeah I hope so! Are you going to be traveling around the country or staying in Tirana??
@@MarshallandSabrina We're planning on a month in Sarandë and a month in Tirana.

Thank you! Yeah definitely one of the most fascinating museums we’ve been in.
What way of life do you think is different or foreign to you? Have you ever been to Albania?

Albania history in short. If it wasn’t for Albanians there wouldn’t been Europe ! From Alexander The Great to the George Kastrioti 🇦🇱⚔️

That makes sense. Thank you for the information and for watching!

@@roshiroshi1240 That’s really cool! We didn’t know about the artist but we definitely both enjoyed the cloud!
Nice historical country , as it seems greekrs stole lots of history from Albaninas
They stole also clothes like the "Fustanella" and even dances and music.
