I just want to add that you do NOT add car oil to a motorcycle. You can safely use DIESEL ENGINE OIL in a motorcycle. Car oils have friction modifiers that will embed itself into the clutch plates and will cause them to lose grip and slip. This wasn't a problem back when these motorcycles were around but now that fuel efficiency is top priority it should not be done. Diesel engine oil does not have these modifiers (molybdenum) and have lots of suspension additives that actually help keep the engine clean, as well as keep the clutch dust suspended for oil changes. As a bonus it's really cheap!
