There are a lot of things this LP has done for me, but one I would like to sincerely thank you for is for getting me back into the anime. I stopped watching in the early part of Diamond and Pearl because it was just so boring, but now I'm on the last episode of the Ash vs. Paul fight and it's fucking awesome. There are lots of kids-- now teenagers-- who grew up with Gen 4 and loved it, and now that they're old enough to have a voice it's going to get the positivity it deserves. But for people our age (especially the ones who can't stand talking to kids), stuff like this Let's Play is a great start. Thank you Chuggaa & co. (this was definitely a collaborative effort) for all your hard work and perserverance. This was a good tribute to a good game!
Hilarious, XD Personally, I've never nicknamed legendary Pokemon. I've felt that, as beings of such grandeur, power, and reputation, I shouldn't address them as anything other than their own names, but that's just me. =P
what I liked is that it was the names he used on the sidebar that episode literally straight from the side bar at the end of that episode 2.5 hours LEAVEMEALONE and THE BEST ONE

Personally, this ended up becoming one of my favorite LPs you have done. I may be a few months late to the party but I ended up staying up night after night watching this great series. Pokémom Platinum is the first Pokémon game I have EVER played and beaten the Pokémon League in. Back when it was first coming out, I saw commercials of the game that really got me interested in the game. One night, we went to the store and got it. I played through the whole thing for months and loved every bit of it. I haven't played a Pokémon game in quite a while, and I did keep up with the series as it was being updated from episodes 1-16ish, but got busy with other stuff. So I came back to this after it finished, and it made me really want to go back and play this game again. I sure missed a lot and was a major noob when I first played this game, and I missed a LOT of stuff, including missing a good 7 legendary Pokémon, but I feel like I could do so much better because of this playthrough. This was a really great LP and I'm glad it happened. Keep up the awesome work, Emile!
June 19th, 2016: I know you've said through this whole LP that you wanted Supernova to use metronome and get Self Destruct or Explosion. I was going through Fantina's gun in Diamond just now and got Self Destruct from a Metronome. WOOHOO
Phew! It was a long journey, but it was worth seeing it through 'til the end. Thanks a bundle chuggaaconroy for all the effort you and your collaborators/guests put into making this LP a phenomenal one.
You know, I loved watching this. I will admit that I didn't see it as it was uploaded mostly because my interest in let's plays had faded at the time, but going back I loved seeing all the time and effort you poured into this game. I may not have grown up being bullied for liking Pokemon, but it still played a huge role in my life with this game being what got me interested in the series as a whole and I can't wait until you do gen 5, which is what got me into competitive battling right before the release of X and Y. I honestly can't wait until you get around to it, but if you go into as much detail with that as you did with Platinum then I'm willing to wait for a while

You should do a Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver let's play. You've done Crystal, sure, but it was a long time ago and isn't really exactly the same thing.
Finally powered my way through the most recent episodes, and I have to say--I'm really sad this is the end, Emile. I look forward to whatever LP is coming next!
Didn't know about those encounters at the Pokemon League water body. But then again, thinking back, I don't think I've ever fished there before. In ANY of those games. That was awesome Emile showcased every single one of his (Pokemon) captures AND the people who either produced stuff behind the scenes or guest starred. I wish Lucahjin would have been one of the guests since she was doing HeartGold around the same time as this and they fought. That was an epic set of fights. Perhaps even better than the last Elite 4 run in FireRed. I see Pokemon was a major help in Emile's life even after his childhood years. That sucks he was bullied and beat up. But his life seems to be better now. I wonder what was with Emile going to Byron's house at the end though.
Hey chugga I know earlier in the series you said you wanted to make it rewatchable and you did a fantastic job at it, and watching this a second time I really did enjoy this even 5 years on its still a great series to watch, thank you chugga for all the memories you have given to everyone who watched you keep up the good work

Dear Chuggaconroy, I have been watching your let's plays for a long time. And I mean a LONG time. Since I was in middle school, and now I'm a rising senior as of today. I wanted to convey all of my gratitude for the joy you've given me over the years. I also wanted to ask If you would be doing any not-quite nintendo games, such as games still on nintendo consoles, but not specifically nintendo IPs. The game(s) I have in mind are Legend of Starfy, which is one of my all time favorite DS games, and Stardew Valley coming for Wii U later this year. I don't know whether you'll see this or not, but still take my thanks anyway :D

I think that what you said at the end really is somewhat similar to me as well, however quite different. Gen 4 was my escape from the terrible reality that I had to face with bullying and attempts and thoughts of suicide and sever depression that even to this day 10 years later I still struggle with, however, since it was the up note of this time it holds to me as being the third best pokemon generation IMO, only beaten by a tie between the first one I played, sapphire/alpha sapphire, and pokemon moon. I like pokemon moon because it was the ending to the tough times I had been experiencing for more than ten years and the first time I had actually felt happiness all took place during my play through of the new games. Pokemon really means a lot to me, and I've put easily over 3000 hours into it my life and yet I've never grown tired of it, not even for a second.

Earthbound Beginnings/Earthbound or Super Luigi Galaxy 2/Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. "Something we haven't visited in a long time". It's been 6ish years since the 2 Luigi games, so that sounds like a good bet. But, honestly the 2 Earthbound games started this channel, and he has said numerous times that he wants to redo those LPs. More likely Earthbound though, because it was his first let's play, and he would probably want to do justice to that one the most. They're both on the eShop now! Something that Chugga said would never happen in one of his Mother 3 videos. Also, it would be awesome to hear reactions to Mother 3 being announced for WiiU eShop (they've hinted at it so much and it's the series anniversary I believe). Who knows? Chugga is a hint master, and does not make this easy ;)
To top it all off, Chugga said multiple times in this series that he thought Platinum was hinting at the release of one of the Earthbound games on Wii eShop. That could be a hint about a hint that he hinted from the game. My money is on Earthbound. But hey, that's just a theory. A guess at Chuggaa's next LP on a game theory!
I gotta say, I think this is the first LP of yours that I watched the entirety of. I've seen a lot of your other works but never truly took the time to sit down and watch an entire one of these. I'm glad I actually took the time to do so for this one. It makes me appreciate the games that I still call my favorites out of all the Pokemon series and it even taught me some things I never knew about the game! Thank you for putting this out there, and you can definitely count one more person amongst your subscribers.

There's only 3 explanations I can think of for his next LP. Earthbound- he said he would like to re do that game someday on multiple occasions Luigis mansion Darkmoon- he hasn't done the original since 2010 I believe Sticker star- he hasn't done paper Mario since 2012

I used to be an everyday fan who had seen every one of your videos almost the day they came back all the way back to earthbound, but then at around xenoblade life happened and I couldn't keep up. But I always checked up on the finales! You honestly are a solid in my life that I can come back to when stressed and I thank you for that. Keep on chuggin!
"A revisit to something we haven't seen in a very long time" It's Earthbound, no doubt about it. Chuggaa has said he's wanted to replay it on the channel, and it WAS the first LP. I'd consider that a revisit to somewhere old. :)
sinnoh is the game i grew up with ( and actually remember playing) so when i found this series i was so happy. and now its over and its making me sad, chuggaaconroy keep making amazing videos, and thanks for this series.
Chugga, it was a fun ride with platinum and I loved your team. To me it just all of them had there own personalities like. Bodhi was the leader of the group, clefable was the princess that messed up.. ALOT, Crobat was the tough one like the fighter, Gallade was the one that seeked attention like when the fist time you fought Cynthia Gallade was stealing all the camera shots, Milotic is the real princess of the team and the envy of Clefable, and Dusknoir was the wise one, the one to give advice to the team.
Amazing games, great explanations of all that's going on in terms of side quests and options and lore, and so much heart along the way. It breaks my heart to hear what he went through in high school; I never saw any form of physical bullying go on in my school, only verbal things and even that sucks in its own right. I'm glad that they didn't affect the way you choose to express yourself now, and I'm glad to have had the opportunity to watch this playthrough. Keep up the good content man!
Dragon Rush may have more power than Dragon Claw, but it's more inaccurate and thus much less reliable than Dragon Claw, which has 100 base accuracy. Any physical Dragon Sweeper worth their money would use this or Outrage over Dragon Rush any day for the same reason why Flamethrower is preferred over Fire Blast.
"This is a lot to go through just to make a let's play of a game" Chugga, this is what I expect now as the standard of a let's play for Pokemon, and for let's plays of Finite games in general. You mention how it seems like there is a lot of excess stuff that it thrown into your videos and that it seems sorta pointless, but its that detail that you have in all of your lets plays, your drive to make lets plays not just about the gameplay but about all the details and to make it so informative, that is what I feel makes you my favourite lets player. Ever since I found you on pikmin knowing youre starting another project and playing through games with you is something I look forward to daily.

Perhaps even better than the last Elite 4 run in FireRed. I see Pokemon was a major help in Emile's life even after his childhood years. That sucks he was bullied and beat up. But his life seems to be better now. I wonder what was with Emile going to Byron's house at the end though.

I have been watching your let's plays for a long time. And I mean a LONG time. Since I was in middle school, and now I'm a rising senior as of today. I wanted to convey all of my gratitude for the joy you've given me over the years. I also wanted to ask If you would be doing any not-quite nintendo games, such as games still on nintendo consoles, but not specifically nintendo IPs. The game(s) I have in mind are Legend of Starfy, which is one of my all time favorite DS games, and Stardew Valley coming for Wii U later this year. I think that what you said at the end really is somewhat similar to me as well, however quite different. Gen 4 was my escape from the terrible reality that I had to face with bullying and attempts and thoughts of suicide and sever depression that even to this day 10 years later I still struggle with, however, since it was the up note of this time it holds to me as being the third best pokemon generation IMO, only beaten by a tie between the first one I played, sapphire/alpha sapphire, and pokemon moon. I like pokemon moon because it was the ending to the tough times I had been experiencing for more than ten years and the first time I had actually felt happiness all took place during my play through of the new games. Pokemon really means a lot to me, and I've put easily over 3000 hours into it my life and yet I've never grown tired of it, not even for a second.

+LoveChickadee I feel minish cap is underrated a bit and only Emile can bring nostalgia and hilariously bad puns together in that game. not to mention it's one of the few zelda games where extra things unlock after you beat the main game and start a new game.
The minish Cap is my favourite 2D Zelda game. I cam see him doing it since he enjoys paying the underrated Zelda games.
Earthbound Beginnings/Earthbound or Super Luigi Galaxy 2/Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. "Something we haven't visited in a long time". It's been 6ish years since the 2 Luigi games, so that sounds like a good bet. But, honestly the 2 Earthbound games started this channel, and he has said numerous times that he wants to redo those LPs. More likely Earthbound though, because it was his first let's play, and he would probably want to do justice to that one the most. They're both on the eShop now! Something that Chugga said would never happen in one of his Mother 3 videos. Also, it would be awesome to hear reactions to Mother 3 being announced for WiiU eShop (they've hinted at it so much and it's the series anniversary I believe). Who knows? Chugga is a hint master, and does not make this easy ;)
To top it all off, Chugga said multiple times in this series that he thought Platinum was hinting at the release of one of the Earthbound games on Wii eShop. That could be a hint about a hint that he hinted from the game. My money is on Earthbound. But hey, that's just a theory. A guess at Chuggaa's next LP on a game theory!

I gotta say, I think this is the first LP of yours that I watched the entirety of. I've seen a lot of your other works but never truly took the time to sit down and watch an entire one of these. I'm glad I actually took the time to do so for this one. It makes me appreciate the games that I still call my favorites out of all the Pokemon series and it even taught me some things I never knew about the game! That Garchomp is the strongest Garchomp ever. One of the strongest non legendary pokemon in my opinion.
I used to be an everyday fan who had seen every one of your videos almost the day they came back all the way back to earthbound, but then at around xenoblade life happened and I couldn't keep up. But I always checked up on the finales! You honestly are a solid in my life that I can come back to when stressed and I thank you for that. Keep on chuggin!

sinnoh is the game i grew up with ( and actually remember playing) so when i found this series i was so happy. and now its over and its making me sad, chuggaaconroy keep making amazing videos, and thanks for this series.

Chugga, it was a fun ride with platinum and I loved your team. To me it just all of them had there own personalities like. Bodhi was the leader of the group, clefable was the princess that messed up.. ALOT, Crobat was the tough one like the fighter, Gallade was the one that seeked attention like when the fist time you fought Cynthia Gallade was stealing all the camera shots, Milotic is the real princess of the team and the envy of Clefable, and Dusknoir was the wise one, the one to give advice to the team.
My favorite LP so far!
Also, that was a perfect way to end.
Amazing games, great explanations of all that's going on in terms of side quests and options and lore, and so much heart along the way. It breaks my heart to hear what he went through in high school; I never saw any form of physical bullying go on in my school, only verbal things and even that sucks in its own right. I'm glad that they didn't affect the way you choose to express yourself now, and I'm glad to have had the opportunity to watch this playthrough. Keep up the good content man!

Dragon Rush may have more power than Dragon Claw, but it's more inaccurate and thus much less reliable than Dragon Claw, which has 100 base accuracy. Any physical Dragon Sweeper worth their money would use this or Outrage over Dragon Rush any day for the same reason why Flamethrower is preferred over Fire Blast.

You mention how it seems like there is a lot of excess stuff that it thrown into your videos and that it seems sorta pointless, but its that detail that you have in all of your lets plays, your drive to make lets plays not just about the gameplay but about all the details and to make it so informative, that is what I feel makes you my favourite lets player. Ever since I found you on pikmin knowing youre starting another project and playing through games with you is something I look forward to daily.
