That was great! KOLM (Olympia) was my home airport for a couple of years and I still rent from Glacier, the FBO that you used. I also hear the tail number of N5363Z in the radio receiving their IFR clearance to KTIW (Tacoma Narrows). I must have 50 or 60 hours in that plane as well and flew it out of KPLU (Thunder Field).
I once lived in Longview/Kelso and The Dalles, OR back in the late 90's. i have driven across that bridge in the picture when you made the left turn after take off
Flew PDX to BFI (Boeing Field) many times before I moved to Australia, this was a nice bit of nostalgia for me. Cessna 310. Even a few low visibility departures from PDX to keep things interesting, PDX 0/0 while Hillsboro was VFR, Troutdale a legal alternate, always interesting weather. .
Thanks! I wish I had more angles on this video to show more of it. The fall colors were amazing in Portland. This was filmed in late October 2017. I'm planning to go back this year on a personal trip to enjoy the city and fall colors outside of work.
Hello Jesse, The angles of your cameras are fantastic! Congratulations"" I live in Brazil, land of the Phenom, I also fly the Phenom 300, but in the simulator (FSX-SE), it's an extraordinary aircraft, right? Could you make some operational videos, from starting to cutting engines? The simulator community would be eternally grateful. Good flights!! Hugs to you and your partner. Penze
Penze I love the Phenom! It is a great airplane to fly. I'm planning to make some videos focusing on the setup/startup/shutdown so stay tuned for those. Thanks for watching!
Hi JesseFlies! As a private pilot and avid simmer, I’d LOVE that too! Keep up the awesome work. I was glad to read you got extra cameras to film the dashboard!
Keep doing your thing! These videos are pretty amazing! Love watching what I’ll be doing in a few years. Getting my Multi Engine commercial next semester and CFI-A an CFI-I this summer. The grind never stops keep making this vids I’ll keep watching! 👌🏾🛩
I'm glad you're enjoying the videos Chase. I have a lot of fun making them. Keep up the hard work, you're in for an amazing career. There is no better time to be a pilot.
Thanks Keith. Most of my videos are usually multi camera angles. This particular one was only one angle because I was lazy and didn’t pack all of my gear. Thanks for watching!
Hey Jesse. I would ld like thank you about your awesome videos that you shared it with us but I have small think that I would like you to do it in your videos in the future.. “IFR CLEARANCE” please I need it. :(
Thanks for watching Joe. I usually have more angles including the flight instruments. When I left my house for this trip I only had 1 of my cameras with me instead of the usual 4. I have some other videos on my channel with multiple angles including the cockpit.
Jesse - I love your videos, and hope to be applying at Executive AirShare in the not-so-distant future (still a little short on hours)! I'm in the Austin-area... would you foresee that being an issue?
If you apply and do not have the required time it doesn’t hurt. As you build time and get the minimums they’ll see that you have a continued interest which looks good. Our crews are required to live within an hour of their base. Here in Dallas a lot of us are a little bit outside of that depending on traffic and time of day. In Austin you’re closest to our SAT base. I’m not sure if that’s within an hour or not.
Aw thats too bad! MAYBE one day we'll do home base. As of now they've been able to recruit enough to not have to do that. Any chance you'd be able to move or are you tied down in AUS?
Nflightcam sells a cable for the GoPro hero 5/6 that connects in between the headset and intercom. That’s what I use. Seems to do ok but I’ve had it disconnect partially ruining a lot of my videos.
Aficionado fans want panel shots, not only forward outside views. Too much taxiing, both airports and grey sky time wasted. Not even an outside shot of the Phenom. Sorry.

Who was singing that in the end..?
Красота!
Is that Travis with you?? He’s an awesome dude!
It is! I haven’t flown with him since this PDX trip. Hopefully we’ll get paired up to fly again soon.
Excellent Jessie! Are you PIC?
+Muhammad Nimji thanks! Yes I am PIC
How do you capture ATC/Intercom audio? I’m just getting into the flight vlog thing. I fly a Citation Mustang and CJ1.

Smooth :)
