I'm not sure I understand your statement, could you elaborate? I believe your scope of examination is not at an optimal level given the thematics and symbolic nature of the statement being made. No, i do not believe Humans are same as animals, but at the same time i believe it is not unreasonable to establish a comparison between the two on multiple dimensions of analysis. I believe it's disingenuous to disregard any correspondence between the way both Humans and animals are. There are a plethora of similarities between them on many different axioms and given the latest scientific exploration into animal consciousness we are starting to observe more closer resemblance to our own way of thinking (processing information,-social structures, value structure hierarchy, pattern recognition ect.). if you do not believe that to be true then its my opinion that you either don't give enough credit to animals or just think that humans are inherently superior (which given the nature of human history shows ignorance or willful blindness on your part) .

Its called jin roh the wolf brigade, its abou a soldier of the special police force that gets traumatized in a terrorist attack, he leater realises how the world truly works, (im trying to be as vague as possible) the story revolves around how people live their lives in a post war society with a semi authoritarian government, it shows the intricate political power games full of backstabbing and underground organizations but still preserve the reality of the situation, not making the story unbelievable but quite the contrary, it makes it more human more real.
