I just re-discovered your playlist with R5 videos I'd love to see you continue sharing your knowledge and experience with the camera.
Thanks again for all this. Yeah, I have learned to trust the histogram and surprised how well it works shooting log. I’m also used to looking at flat video while shooting, but I taught my husband (who knows nothing about cameras) to shoot video for me / of me by relying only on the histogram (using ISO and variable ND to manage it) and I’ve been shocked by how well his exposures turn out, though I suppose I’m also just impressed with Canon CLog3 for being so forgiving. I’m not that skillful at color grades, etc., but it feels like the R5 CLog3 is playing on easy mode. But I did not realize 3200 was another sweet spot ISO, so I’m grateful to hear this 🙏
