Honestly, I think the messy long hair vibe suited you quite well. But the new haircut doesn't look all that different. I guess if that was what you were going for you do you. Also yes Greg's sausage rolls are the best!
I know I‘m behind the times, but I just watched your video from your first day in Munich recently, and it struck me how you said you didn’t know how to cook. Now I‘ve seen you making an english breakfast and now a curry. I gather you have gained some culinary skills! Fabulous! I enjoyed the video!
Were those avocados in pots? I don't know about specifically avocados, but some trees if their roots become too crowded the leaves will struggle, and it can almost be a mirror where the leaves will struggle anywhere past the diameter of the roots.
I always use tinned tomatoes in my curries tbh, saves so much time not having to blanch them to take the skin off etc. Also coconut milk (full fat with the cream is a must) is a great add-in instead of the yoghurt if you like/don't mind a little coconutty kick. Also please get a rice cooker, the rice always turns out much nicer than the normal absorption method in a pot, would recommend adding a little pineapple juice to the rice at the end to mix things up; especially if you have a super thick and spicy curry. Your barbers is super similar to mine, didn't think there were many out there but I guess london probably has everything. A barbers with a bar is a great thing, I usually have a nice whiskey with my haircut and beard trim. Just makes the whole experience super special and relaxing. Nice to see these back, look forward to more!
Great video! Love the evening running shots, the lighting was epic. Lugging the camera around was definitely worth it. Also, finally an update on the avocado trees! Sorry they're not doing so well.
Ah, yes, this is the NaveRegnide I subscribed to all those years ago! XD Love it, I didn't know how much I missed old-school vlog content until I saw this, please keep 'em comin'.
My avocado sprouts are doing the same thing with their leaves, so any suggestions on this disease would probably be helpful to a lot of people. Maybe I should follow some gardeners?
for these I'm really trying to do as MINIMAL setup as possible. Just turning on my camera (dialed in to my custom settings) and going! Certain shots had slightly extra consideration. You might notice I'm lit nice in the first yoga shot. That's just the wand bounced off the wall you can see in the next shot. :)
In this season, using canned tomatoes is probably the best option to cook with, at least they are likely sun-drenched, unlike those you can find in the supermarket in April, which are still bags of water with little taste... A can of tomato concentrate might even be better in this case... Nice video, I like the pace of it, and the diversity.
The problem with your avocado trees is what I think is similar with my lemon trees during winter. The cold air during winter "burns" (in a sense), the leaves, so in order to keep the heat around the trees, you need to invest in some covers, that can utilise the sun, and use the heat of the sun the keep the tree growing, but protect it from the cold.
The day in the life of Evan....it was cute....I enjoy seeing more of your room, cos I am nosy...do you have your own ensuite? Nice! Also I now have a strong desire to go to gregs, damn it!!!
Loving these vlogs :) I've got to put ground almond in my next curry, what a great idea! I like to make mine with a base of either almond milk or coconut milk rather than tinned tomatoes! Sorry to hear about your avo - all the ones I planted after being inspired by your old avo video are thriving!

this is very random but I'm in the US and I often visit my boyfriend in London and stay in the same area as you! we frequent that Greggs :) I always joke that hopefully one day we'll run into each other and I can have an American friend abroad lol
So I did it for a full year. I felt stuck in that streak. Now I end each yoga sesh with 3-5 minutes or meditation and I find it’s like a nice reminder. Not quite the same thing you get out of a full 15 minute+ meditation but for me it’s just enough
Your hair looks lovely pre-cut. But I know what you mean. I had mine cut today and didn't want to lose all of it. So I prepared and found a pic of a random guy on the internet with hair I might want... that is so sad... never pre-planned a haircut before. Lockdown is dangerous!
In england you only have to wear a mask when inside public places and obviously not when getting shaved. Barbers only reopened this week on monday let the guy have a haircut we've been in lockdown on and off for a year 🙄
I don't think I would have noticed you changed your glasses if you hadn't mentioned it but then I had to look back and they are quite different. Here you are fussing about lenses and lighting and I dont even notice a change in glasses lol. Also did you switch out Artie for the ginger cat??
@@Silmirel well I think that anyone who is currently not having something done to their face should still have a mask on, they can be taken off briefly for shaving or nose hair waxing. But the fact that almost no one was wearing a mask in there is very uncomfortable to me.
I've noticed a lot of English barbers cut right under the jaw instead of right where the neck starts I wish they didn't it just lends the appearance of a double chin
The shot of the pigeon 😍 so gooooood

Ive never conceptualised how large a man Evan was until I seen the size of a cheese and onion bake in his hands.
If I recall correctly, ancient cultures famously referenced Onion Bakes© as the first globally 'standardised measurement'
Literally though my hands are tiny so this would NOT work with me! 😂
I'm fasting, so i appreciate that you had something as unappetising as cheesy beans on toast for breakfast.
I feel personally attacked and offended!
On a more serious note though: hope your fasting is going well!
lol
I’ve never seen a duvet cover that doesn’t come with pillow cases.

The tree has gotten a disease! I have had this happen to me I have learnt to cut off the leaves with the disease. To save the tree in the end.
I'm a disabled mum and it's interesting to get an insight into what someone who has a lot more time and energy can fit into one day 😅

Came to this channel from your main channel. I actually prefer this channel. Fun Video Evan. MM
Wise saying: "You are rubber, I am glue. Whatever you say bounces to me and I'll stick with you."

damn the new hairsut really suits you. its different then your usual cut, but i prefer this one better

Appreciating that at this point literally anything outside the house qualifies as travel.

This vlog made me miss london so bad, as soon as my country lifts lockdown i need to travel there.
The curry looks so tasty! I'm in a cooking slump, this motivated me a bit. Also thanks for filming the yoga and running. I should do that too...
Probably should get bigger pots for your avocados
Please vlog more
I'd suggest your avocado trees have suffered frost/cold damage and would be best grown indoors or in a greenhouse. Good luck with them!
for creamy texture/flavour in currys coconut milk works really well
I'm loving the vlogs!
This encourages me to get more stuff done in a day. I never do everything I want to do.

This was such a lovely vlog what a nice day :)
Why do I never get notified from this channel TT
Same, I had my lockdown cut today!
This video made me happy
Cinnamon Toast Crunch are my all time favorite breakfast cereal 😋. Never knew they had a French Toast Crunch
reminds me of my barber who offered me a scotch whilst getting my hair done
Are you using the A7IIIS for your Vlog as well? If so, how is the weight/bulk for lugging a full frame camera around town?
Worn out watching this..lol...glad you're keeping hair long. it suits you... :)
Will there be a recipe drop? 👀👀
The cheesy bean bake is like beans on toast but better imo
“Who likes raisins?” *puts sultanas in rice*
P.S. Yes I know sultanas and raisins are different.
No man buns Evan. God, no.
My anxiety through the roof when he's running and leaving the camera there 😳
I wish they had white wine at the barber

WOOPS yeah I need to do that! I was in a big whirlwind for this (shooting a main channel vid AND filming this vlog so I cut a few corners ;) )
This is a travel vlog. He travelled outside to a barber
Am I the only one shocked that they're not wearing masks in the barber shop? Is that a UK thing? (American here)
Wine at the bar? Ooh
I want a pigeon framed picture pls Evan
I can finally watch this in 4k
The final days of mophead Evan.
This haircut reminds me of when I went to the hairdresser and she cut 0,5 cm and I showed my boyfriend and he didn"t see the difference :P
How long did it take to adjust the handle of the pot with the pan so perfectly

They did not cut much. But you do have nice hair.
