I recently purchased this tripod. My last tripod was a Gitzo (not sure of model, but it had the horizontal arm like the VEO3t), it was expensive, heavier and not as well executed as this Vanguard. I’m really impressed with this tripod. The rotating center column is very well designed and engineered. The whole thing is solid too. It’s not light enough for long hikes and vacations - but it is portable and packable for short hikes and perfect for macro work. Superb concept. Thoroughly recommended.
Hey it's me again!! :) I really like the functionality of this tripod but it's important to me to have a handle because I find it easier to adjust when I'm sitting in front of the camera. What would you think of frankensteining the legs of this tripod with the head of the VEO 3T 265HCBP Tripod you reviewed (the one I commented on earlier)?
Sold. Seriously, I was in bad need of a multi-purpose tripod. I had some account issues, so I don’t know if you got the affiliate link, but I’m hoping you did. No reviews on this tripod yet on Amazon but the company’s review are usually good so I’m in! My only wish was the tripod part had a screw base, so you could put your own legs on it if you have the need.
Great review! I'm having trouble deciding between the Vanguard Veo 3+ 263ab and the Vanguard Veo 3T+ 264ab. I like the 360 degree rotation of the top plate and the extra reach of the 3+ for studio work, but the 3T+ would easily strap to a backpack. If you could only choose one, would the 3T+ fit the bill for your studio work?

Thank you so much, there are many reviews about this tripod but this is the first one that tells me everything I needed about it.
Great video on this tripod. Was thinking about getting the Veo 3T+364AB and watching this sealed the deal. Thanks so much.

Such a good review
