Thanks for making these videos! I was looking for a tripod with a pivoting center column, like this one and the Alta Pro2+. The Veo 3+ is newer and seems to have more options than the Alta Pro2+. Is the Veo 3+ better in every way? Does the Alta Pro2+ have any advantages over this one? Thanks a lot!
Do the adjustment knobs get in the way of the shot when you have the arm out sideways? the knobs always seem to be shown facing outwards in front of the lens. The ball head is on back order for another month but I can get one of these.
They can but not in a way that bothered me. I just had to set it up right handed if you get what I mean, spinning everything to one side. I have a review I am shooting this week on the travel version of this tripod and I will discuss this when I compare the two. Thanks for the comment
Thanks so much for making this review about this tripod I am almost finalised buying this model but looking at the video this head seems a little cumbersome to use easily, I don't want to have this head I would rather prefer a ball head. Is it only me sensing like that or is it really good?. Thanks much once again.
@@vanguardworldcom actually I wanted a geared head but you don't have one or I am not aware so I thought this pan head will give me a similar experience but after seeing this video it is not so easy to manoeuvre. FYI - I like Benro GD3WH because its functionality is amazing and very accurate. Wish Vanguard will think design 3way geared head in the near future. Thank you so much for replying to my concern. I am happy to review them as well in YT and I like the ergonomics of your products. BR - Shashi
It should work if you have a cell phone mount- we have one from our DJI Ronin that has the standard tripod bolt size on the bottom; this fits on the tripod. But a good work around is to get a small rig or Manfrotto mini magic arm then you can mount any thing anywhere. www.ulanzi.com/collections/tripod/products/st-14-smartphone-holder-iron-man-iii Here is one from Ulanzi but you can probably find it cheaper on amazon. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for the really great and really detailed review :-)

Hello! The VEO 3+ series also has models that come with ball heads if that is your preference.

Can we tilt it and shoot Vertical Videos??
Nice review of the tripod! It seems that Linus is not recovered from the Travel Tripod Challenge! :p
Just when you thought we were done with tripods lol
Will this work with a cell phone and camera set up? Struggling to find that?
