That fish 🐟 on the beach it’s a “puffer fish” only dangerous if eaten and it’s liver it’s poked. A delicacy in 🇯🇵, you need a special license to sell as food.
Lots of people come to El Zonte to just chill work & surf. We definitely saw some people working on laptops. When we were there the wifi was good - no issues!

El zonte got so many relaxing places to stay with less people, i just went a few weeks ago, i wish i would've stayed there the whole time.

You are correct on quality ones at the mall, however the others that they paid $5 for go for as little as $1 in the city.

As a tourist you can get by without Spanish sort of, but speaking Spanish definitely helps. I always recommend knowing the basics
