It's the most affordable drone that's compatible with the DJI RC. For beginners, that's the ideal starter kit!

DJI are the absolute masters when it comes to making drones. I have a Mini 2 and think it's an awesome piece of kit. Looking forward to upgrading to a pro model in the future as I really want the all-around sensors. I need them to protect me from my own stupidity!

So... this seems like it's the original Mini with an upgraded camera and battery life? I'm glad you mentioned the sensors being removed, I was hoping this was going to be my affordable upgrade to a drone with collision avoidance.
First few seconds of the video, I was thinking didn’t DJI already come out with the Mini 3 Pro?? Before I realized this was just the Mini 3. Shows how good DJI has done with their product that they can be so similar!

For me, this is like starting with the original Mini? Sure there are some things more up to date...
I would just wait and save money a bit longer and get the Pro for the full features you will want when you improve your skills and grow your interests. Just my opinion... Greg

I really don't care about sensors as I 99% shut them down as I go to very high altitudes like 500m. So having a disposable drone like this can be great when shooting during a hurricane, going to a volcano, or something.
Totally impressive! But oh no, seems like this is the end of the Mini 2 since the prices are very close.

Hello peter! I have a question regarding drones. In your country, do you need a license to carry out any type of flight? or there are areas where you can fly a drone without requesting permission. In Spain they are very restrictive with this issue. A greeting. I love your channel!

Sub 250 is more important than sensors imo. Most people fly with sensors off btw

Love the flight time considering the size. Unfortunately I usually shoot mainly in mountainous regions with high wind so DJI might be missing the "outdoor" market with the mini series. Nice review!

Honestly I'm not really impressed by the image quality. I just wished the Mavic 2 Pro had vertical mode but everything else aside I don't find the newer drones as a drastic improvement in image quality just more digital sharpening and denoising. (looking at the video on a desktop pc). They just look more digital than ever instead of more natural.

mini 3 pro : D-cinelike , 48mp sensor , 4k 60fps , obstacle avoidance sensors , DJI O3
it's literally night and day and you only save 250 $. this is a dirty move by DJI
The more options the better in my opinion. It's great if more people can afford the hobby!
