- nobody helped this depressed man but when he took his money out everybody went up to him to take his money, is money more important than a life?

I learned about this from my own dad. I saw a homeless man and he asked for some change and I said no because you get use to being asked. The man hung his head in shame and hopelessness. My dad asked him what he needed money for and the homeless man said to buy something to eat right over there at taco bell. My dad pulled out a $5 and gave it to him. Then my dad said to me that it's important to do random acts of kindness. Now that my father is gone, I remember this when the same situation arises and I give a guy $5 or maybe $10. And the response from somebody, when they really need it and are use to being ignored is something you have to see to beleive. I'm talking tears in their eyes and calling me an angel and sh*t. What's even better is when you don't just give money but you actually stop for just a minute and let them say what they got to say. They are use to being invisible and forgotten. Imagine if that was you.

If I ever saw a person of ur stature and physique...I would have to sit down and have a conversation with you first as to why you are where you are. I am not mean spirited...
One thing to be cautious though when doing this is also the stereotype where homeless only use money for drugs. If you really want to make sure this is not the case. Either buy them something to eat and see if they’ll take the food you give them and if they still decline, maybe offer them to talk with you and ask them what food they would want to purchase. That way they can choose what food would help them fill their belly and also avoid them from using the money to buy drugs. Even though we’re strangers I don’t mind also telling you a similar story that my parents taught me about giving back to those in need. To keep things short, my dad would also tell me and also show me to give money to homeless, but after the recent rumors about how homeless use the money now for drugs he has stopped helping homeless now which seriously has torn me and I also have indifferent feelings about his words now. However, to still help those in need, but also avoid homeless from using the money to purchase drugs. I would usually offer them what food they want to eat, use the money to purchase a quick snack or meal depending on the time of day or how starved they are, or just ask them if they want to walk with me to the nearest grocery store and we’ll both look for what meal he/she wants to eat.

This also reminds me of another social farce in society. Where people will never give you the time of day when you're alive. Yet they'll throw a huge party for you at your funeral, talking about how great you were. Thank you again my friend for exposing these unseen truths of the world.
This is so sad. Very sad that people find the courage to grab the money, but turn a blind eye on someone who is asking for help. 😢

Even worse. They want a picture of them taking money from a desperate person. If I saw someone giving away their life savings and especially they made it known they were depressed I would be listening to them maybe give them something. But wouldn't delight in their pain that is so sickening.

Money is temporary happiness. I have worked for so many customers over the years who have tens of millions of dollars and end up getting divorced because they don’t think they need each other. I would rather be broke and in love than rich and alone. Keep up the great work Cjay

It’s awful because they’re taking the money to try and help ease their depression from struggling, but don’t have the “time” (bullshit excuse) to stop and talk to another human.

This was disgusting. Most of those people were sitting there just watching the homeless part. Wouldn't lift a finger to help. But as soon as the money came out they ran to take it. It makes me sad to see this. I love your videos man.

Those kids were worried at the beginning. But they stood back because of the fear their parents and society has taught them. We and all those parents broke them and keep them from being the human they could be.

That's absolutely heartbreaking. But several years ago I went to Portsmouth UK with some friends and saw a man in a street with a sign "I don't want anything, I just want to talk..." and I passed by. I still remember this because I wanted to talk to him but because I was very shy and felt my English was not very good I did not and I have felt ashamed since then...

People have no compassion anymore. I’ve struggled with depression and it’s hard to get past it. I fight everyday not to let it come back full force. More people need to have compassion for others.

I have been watching your video's. I just found you. I am dumbfounded by all the level of disrespect, love for money and hatred. I have no problem giving my last dollar to someone else. I have. And my kids have seen me do acts of kindness for others. My mom once told me, when you give anything, give without strings attached. Open your heart and spread love. Don't expect anything in return. If you cannot do that. Then DON'T. I understood what she meant. I have always been a giver. I only wish more people gave without conditions. Love doesn't cost anything. It isn't normal to allow pain.

I hate how people prefer free money over helping someone else. Makes me sick to my stomach. I’m the type of person when it comes to seeing someone that is I need of help. I will do it. For example if a customer give me a $20. I take that $20 and exchange it into smaller bills. then I divided up between me and who ever else works with me. I’m not greedy I may have money but some of it goes towards emergency funds in case I need it or I save it up for a coming up even like the fair or whatever.

First point/gem of information, in the UK we have an organisation mostly staffed by very well trained volunteers called Samaritans. Within the UK it’s free to ring them…
BUT, they also have an email part too, that anyone in the world can use.
2nd, I’ve been extremely depressed, it’s a horrendous place to be, if I see someone who even just looks a bit down I make a point of speaking to them, I’m 🇬🇧& the stereotypical ‘they just talk about the weather’ is partly true because it can be a good way to start a mini or long conversation. If I chat with someone I make a point to say “thank you, I really enjoyed chatting to you” at times my mobility & few medical things going on mean I can’t always do this, but if I’m in a queue and I see someone who looks elderly or might appreciate having their trolley emptied I do it, another good conversation opener. A few weeks ago I emptied the trolley or a 98 year old man who flew spitfires in ww2! I wish it had been in town because I would have loved to have taken him to a cafe and extended our chat.
Sometimes I feel rough, extreme pain, feeling terrible…but, because I’m disabled on bad days I have to sit in the front ish seats reserved for people who need them. So I’m often sitting with older people, some days I just want to sit quietly, check my emails or read my book. But I always start a conversation to judge the response to people sitting near me, the majority are happy to chat, some have said they hadn’t spoken to anyone for days 😢If I have the time I’ll ask if they want to go to the little coffee shop in the bus station to carry on chatting. Surprisingly many do, the couple of staff in there smile with a ‘she’s here again’ look in their eye 😂
Please talk to people, my 🇺🇸 ex thought it was weird here in 🇬🇧because people will just chat or say good morning, he sent a text once to ask what he should do because an elderly lady at the bus stop was talking to him!
Just talk, they either give a friendly response or not, no one is going to burst into flames from it, wave at your neighbours or shop you frequently go in. Be cheerful to people even when you’re having a bad day. It really does lift my mood to do it.
I make & teach jewellery making & I do little angels, I put them in a nice packet or bag, either attach a note or put it in a cello bag with a short angel message and saying the person who finds it can either keep it, give it to someone else, leave it there or place it somewhere else. I’m atheist, but I know those angels bring comfort to a lot of people, so that’s why I do it. Sometimes I’m very selfish in my deed and put them say in a public bathroom, on a bench or seat, on the edge of a stall then I sit and watch for someone to find them. It’s great, people have such a huge beaming smile! Sometimes outside the bathrooms I’ve been talking to the ladies’ companion and the person will come out with it and tell how they found it and since I’ve been talking they include me in the conversation. Of course I play clueless because I don’t ever want any glory for it. Sometimes I hear their story about why they ‘need it’ or why the person they’re giving it to needs it 🥰. I’d love to get about 250 of them and put them all over in town, the bus and train station, in all the loos then be a fly on the wall (except outside the door of the loos or that would be weird 😂

Sad that they weren’t so bothered to look up a service a depressed person could contact 😤 I can’t lip read and of course can’t hear, but it didn’t seem like they said thank you either. They must not have had an adult give them something but not release it until they heard the magic words

They are suffering themselves and don't know how to fix it. After one goes though suffering the individual becomes sympathetic because they have been there themselves. Most people have never truly experienced the healing power of love. Until then they remain asleep. The cure to their suffering is love.

This is where we are at as a society?? The greed for money is just grossly overwhelming. I may come off political bias however it doesn't matter about politics when you genuinely see someone of need rather it be heartfelt conversations or monetary blessings always try to be kind to the very least of them because those could be angels or you could actually save a life rather you know it or not.

I really enjoy your videos. But I'd like to give you a tiny criticism on editing. In the beginning of this video when you have the words pop up saying that you had a sign saying that you were depressed, that image of those words went by so fast I had to go back three times so that I could make sure I read the whole thing. Can you slow down the image when you have words on the screen so that everybody at all reading levels can read it? Thanks for considering this change to your editing.

Now I respect all your content. But what you must understand that money is a REQUIREMENT for all walks of life. We need money to pay for basic needs like food, water, electricity, education(scam), etc. I’m not saying giving money to the poor is wrong, but unless you can go up the government and say this needs to change go ahead. I’m our here doing business with vending machines (sometimes they steal money from it) and splitting the earnings with myself and those who are less fortunate. If I was a billionaire (if that’s even possible in my standpoint since society requires me to pay 80k in debt for college and I am currently not enrolled in one), I would definitely spend half of it to the poor since society ain’t do shit
