I was living in basically a closet at 19 and I tried to get welfare to help myself get on my feet as I was going to college and they wouldn’t let me unless I had more than one ID and I that impacted me because homeless people most have 0 ID so where is the help? I came back to share the part that impact me the most. it was the first part when the young man came to your rescue not knowing if he could get hurt in the process, at that time it didn't matter because he knew he was doing the right thing by standing up to the bullies for their wrong doing he came through for real. He got down and help pickup your things and said no one deserves to be treated that way I agree homeless or not. All your content are always good , kind of scared for you but you definitely get your point across 👍🏼:-)

    Thank you for protecting the homeless and for bringing awareness to them. I lived in NYC for 7 years and spent a lot of time with the homeless. I started out by simply smiling and making eye contact to eventually talking to them and asking them their story. Most people in the US live paycheck to paycheck and with one catastrophic event, we could be in their position. They have it so hard and people don’t realize how hard it is. I love that you’re making videos to help those in need that are wrongly judged.

      So true. I was once up at a Giants game in the city of San Francisco and my friend got kicked out of the game for being too buzzed lol...she disappeared on me so I left too,by myself...headed back to the train station. I had brought a ton of snacks and food with me and on my way I ran into a homeless guy and his dog,sat down with him to give him all my food and talked with him for awhile. He told me his story,was exactly that...he was just a working class guy that got sick and ended up not being able to pay his rent and BOOM...out on the streets. I could tell,he wasn't high or drunk ...just down on his luck. It's not right. He told me how mean alot of people are to him. Broke my heart. The best I could do was to feed him and his dog for that moment. I gave him all that I had. I'll never forget that guy,he was just a nice regular guy...I hope he's doing better now but I'll never know.

      Geesh. Come on. These guys are acting out violently. I certainly wouldn't step in, nor should you. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't notify the authorities. We don't know how many people phoned for help in these "experiments". Stepping in to defend someone from verbal abuse is one thing, but stepping into violence, that is quite another thing.

    • @kqdwills
      @kqdwills Год назад

      I normally would step in. But in some cases, people would be killed because they get involved in some incidents like this, or they have some urgent things that they have to take care of, so don't go hard on them, if they didn't help.
      To be frank, I don't have very good impression with people who fake violent scenes like this. They do this to get views for their YT channels and leave a bitter taste for people who witness this.

I had a car accident once and my car was totaled and glass smashed everywhere…when I emerged from the car ( thankfully I was mostly okay) there was a crowd surrounding the accident. All just watching and no one asked if I needed help… my shoes gone and my dress appeared bloodied… I was standing on the broken glass in shock. I could hear people talking about me as if I wasn’t there… like oh, is that blood…etc. NOT ONE PERSON ASKED IF I NEEDED HELP!! I don’t know why people are so detached I will never understand it. I will say that as a Masters Degree student in psychology, some would think it is the by standard effect going on, but the reality, we are so quick to put someone down than to lift someone up. We are living in a time where people for gong that human is part of the word humanity. I love your videos, I just bothers me how much people can not help each other or that it is looked at as crazy when someone helps another. It is videos like this and similar that has let me look inside and spread kindness when I can. It does not have to be money, items, or monetary, it can just be compassion, respect, and kindness. Thank you.

Like I've said before. They will be our future politicians, doctors, nurses etc. Yet they have no empathy. Spoiled generation with electronics since being a toddler. 200 dollar jeans & shoes. Play video games. Never did paper routes or shovelled snow or cut grass as kids to learn responsibility. Weren't taught ethics or morals. Latchkey kids who instead of being raised by a stay at home mom who taught them these were spoiled with material possessions to make up for absent parents. Self entitled now.

    I love your channel! What you're doing is amazing and the world needs more people like you. The 1st guy that helped was so nice even helping you pick up the change. The 2nd guy put me through a loop when he ate the sugar. The college girls looked like they wanted to say something but they looked scared. I think that's why a lot of people usually keep walking out of fear of what might happen to them as well. But bless up to all the people brave enough to step up and not allow homeless people be bullied by people. At the end of the day we are all human beings and bleed the same. 🙏

    Omg worse than I thought. Toronto my neighbour. The students were uncaring. And in my later 50s with an illness/ disability, I just became homeless due to rent increases, odsp frozen, landlords discriminating against us on odsp. I worked for years, raised a severe autistic son alone with no respite, never imagined I'd get sick. No housing no help east of Toronto or shelters but now I know not to come to Toronto. Life is over for us. My hope in humanity is gone.

The sheriff came in and only gave me 15 mins to gather all my things and I have no money to get a Uhaul. For a 24 year old my life has been going down hill. So now I’m just been living outside. 😭😭 it hurts the most when your family doesn’t even support you as well. May the lord bless and protect me.

      That's not such a good idea. Lay people should not interfere when there's violence, but there's nothing stopping them from contacting the authorities and standing by in case things do get really bad. Would you think the same way if one of your boys got seriously hurt? I can't blame that guy who seemed pissed when he discovered it was "just a social experiment". I don't like these kind of "experiments". There's a reason why they're using actors here - because the situation isn't real and/or is very rare in this situation - broad daylight, lots of people. People are just going about their day. They don't stop and notice everything, or take the time to find out what happened prior to their arrival on the scene. For this team to state that "the streets won't kill you, but the government will" is just anti-government propaganda. The passers-by are not bad people. They are like the majority of people, just living their lives. It's the actors who are the liars. They are CREATING bad feelings, tension, drama, where none is necessary.

    Cjay, I appreciate what you're doing. In the United States right now we are facing a terrible worker shortage because a lot of us have retired because we're of retirement, age and the young people these days are just not stepping up to do jobs that we were grateful to have. And we face these gangs of homeless that come in to cities and just switch off on corners and then they're making, I think the figure was over $80,000 a year just flying a sign tax-free so people are fed up looking at people with a sign asking for help when we can't tell if it's true or false, with such a terrible worker shortage. I worked in social services too, and I have seen that side of the chronically unhomed.
    I'm not giving the young people a pass, I have never seen a generation of people that were so groundless in their psyches. It is scary.

I moved to Africa hoping to help make a difference and bring jobs and support to a country we were told was poor. But just like you people are not like us. Watching what you do to try and spread love peace and happiness just breaks my heart. Me and my family after 2years of trying have finally been broken and are headed back to America. I hoped for good results. I am headed home with a broken sense of hope that our generation would not be the last generation that understood how to give and support one another. Stay strong and don't become of the world. Be you and keep trying to support what you believe in. And remember the good needs some one to talk to as well. so I will always lend an ear for you to speak to if you need to let somethings out. My life has been hard but that will never stop me or my family from doing what is right. keep up the good fight and be blessed to you and your bodyguard 💙💙💙💙

Giving homeless a chance to reach out to family and loved ones for the holidays as well as have a number to be reached at for the prospects of employment. Not to mention even after 3 months 9-1-1 will still work incase if emergency. When’s the last time you seen a pay phone. A lot of people don’t have the means to reach safety in this situations. I respect all you do and would love to be apart of it with you. 🙏🏼❤️
