As someone from a different country it's so silly to me these people react in such a violent way to some silly naruto-ass signs.
It actually made sense to me. In those kind of neighborhood, any random person showing even signs of threat, even silly gang signs, people would've acted a little mad for the sake of self defense.
It is either kill or be killed, not literally or always the case but man, some parts just aren't safe.
