There was a subtle redesign of the interior for the 1990 model year when they put in the airbags. I had a 1990 Red GT that I bought used in 1991 with 10,000 miles for 12k. Man I really loved that car. I let a friend of mine drive it around the block and he totaled it.
Yeah I'm learning the hard way! I got the rear panels installed and I was right a few of the screws not lining up. I spent all day trying to get the doors opening and closing but not happy with it. I may have to get some help😆
Inspiring me to get back to working on my 89 hatch. Had a garage fire that did some damages and firemen did the rest when it wasn't necessary. And, although I've been through a few foxes, you enlightened me on some things. Looking forward to more.
Thanks man I appreciate that. Some days I want to give up on it. Usually Sunday evenings when I wonder what happened to my weekend 🤦♂️ I've seen the damage the firemen can do. Just let it burn. I have no idea what I'm doing in these videos but I'm going to keep doing them. Maybe a reminder of what not to do 🤣
Wow your dash is looking sweet. I like that stereo relocation for the center countsol. Thats on my list as well. Your car is comin along nice. Shes goin to be a beauty. Awsome job man keep it up.. I love seeing your progress.
Thanks brother! It's definitely been one hell of a learning experience. If I do again I know what I'm looking for now. The dash is 100% better than it was. The radio bezel was a pain but looks good.

A minute in and I already knew where this one was going… I’ve been there too brother from interior pieces, to the fenders… wiring…ugh.. what’s even worse is LMR kind of just ignores this on certain important items….lastly on your new weatherstripping it takes a bit for it to wear in. You’ll be all good in a couple months. It’s totally normal.
Yeah they sell seat belts on Ebay for like $30 and these were like $300 not worth the money. It's crazy the differences I was trying to adjust the doors and 1 bolt was Missing from a hinge so I was like I'll just grab one out of the parts car. 88 1/2" bolt 92 is like 18mm or something I just said fuck it 2 is good enough 😆
I got the doors to open and close decently and the gaps look even but the drivers top door frame is tight to the car and the passengers is loose. I may try and mess with it some more. Need a body guy friend close bye 🤣
You'll have to adjust at the hinges and the door striker,the door sticking out at the bottom is normal You'll have to bend it if you want it flush with the body
Yeah I've spent a few days messing with the hinges. I managed to get them good enough for now but going to try and find someone to help me get everything lined up before I repaint the car. It's a good thing the paint is trashed already because I've added a few more chips trying to line up these doors! LOL
How would that change the angle of the door? I think I got them good enough but since the doors were replaced they weren't lined up correctly to begin with.
@Joeshomegarage I have been to that race track before, it's pretty far away from me. Thanks and same here. I had that same issue to with the interior panel. I had to drill a different hole and plastic weld the other hole. U can get the plastic welder from harbor freight
@@musclecargarage8882 yeah I got enough screws in to hold them still. The 1 long screw was my biggest concern I don't want to drill through the side of the car 🤣

Dont loosen the bolts just pick up on the door a little at a time i had the same problem with my 90

90-93 are different from 87-89
Is that bezel from 417 fox?
Yeah it's looks really nice but a real pain in the ass to install.
