The only reason why jackie Chan became a Hong Kong Chinese Superstar , accepted all over the world is bec he NEVER was a wannabe Bruce Lee.
He creates his own Movie category, like "Its a Charlie Chaplin film (means silent movie slapstick)", a "Charles Bronson like movie", a "Bud Spencer Movie), a "Bruce Lee Movie (without Bruce Lee)".
An achetype, like a "Godzilla" movie, means big monsters in miniatureland, he creates a "Jackie Chan Movie", means Kung Fu with lots of laughter and fast but not so serious fights...
As a Bruce Lee wannabe or Copy he would be long time forgotte, like all these garbage like Bruce Li, Bruce Lo, Bruce Liang etc...
And every objective Martial Artist can agree that Lee was kind of super human.
A punch in 1/8 second (means 3 frames of a Movie), a kick in 1/3 second ( 8 frames)...with POWER, not only a fast shaking of arm or leg.
You can see it in one episode of Green Hornet, they had to repeat it many times bec the stuntman cant react about the punch fast enough to go KO.
In Way of the Dragon you see the kick at the sand pit against the "Japanese", no trick at the speed bec you saw the moving of the trees and leaves and the Actors running in the backround normal speed...etc.
And, when a small and thin guy from China/US is so fast accepted by the worlds most honorable Martial Artists, Stuntmen and Sensei, Masters and Sifus, without a black belt degree...
Then you must be very very good...

I once heard a story about Bruce in America where was allegedly being verbally abused by a couple of guys who tried to pick a fight with "little" Asian dude, and threw out one of his lightening fast kicks and the guy smiled as though it didn't affect him and his teeth fell out. I don't know how true that is but it's sounds exactly like a Bruce Lee story to me. Love Jackie Chan too. His book is a great read about those iconic years, how Bruce not only choreographed the fight scenes, he pretty much directed those films.

Yeah man, and he threw a kick at the second guy’s balls. And the guy laughed because he thought Bruce missed. But then 9 months later his wife gave birth to a Chinese baby and it turned out Bruce’s kick had altered his dna. Bruce is such a legend.

Funny story mate...i read that one of the background fighters from Enter the Dragon mocks Bruce bec "he isnt a real fighter blabla", Bruce fights him (short, just two or thee moves), the "Actor" was kicked out of the movie and a few days later he was killed in a fight in Hong Kong (a dark Alley).
Nobody knows about the circumstances, maybe a revenge bec he mocked the God Bruce Lee, maybe he loose the fight bec he was injured by Lee before, maybe the story isnt true.

Bruce gave this boy money for the hospital after the fight and talked to the mother. But it's my first time hearing he died days later.

Lee was incredibly strong....one finger and thumb with only ONE HAND pushups all the way down to his nose touching the floor and up fully extending his arm for 3 to 6 reps. Could lift an Olympic barbell almost his bodyweight from the floor, to his chest and then straight up pressed fully over his head...with ONE HAND. There are photos of him doing so in his office in HK. Could kick people heavier than him 12-15 feet through the air with a side kick and you can see him do it on video for real. Could punch a person with a one inch punch and cause them to fly through the air six feet and literally bounce off a wall and fall to the floor in a heap. He did this to Olympic Gold Medal winner for Judo, Hayward Nishioka. He did it to James Coburn and many others. Martial artist who got hit by him had ribs broken and a shoulder dislocated and a jaw broken...from a quick PUNCH...not even a kick. So, " weak " ?
You need to wake up buddy.

Bruce could do pushups using 2 fingers, please do a search on this. If you already acknowledged that he is fast, imagine what damage those 2 fingers can do to you coupled with his speed. With this combination alone, I doubt you will continue to label him fast, but 'weak'

Only someone who has trained martial arts know what's wrong with your comment! If you are fast, faster as your opponent , you will certainly win (no matter how good your opponent is) bc one perfect strike is enough to blow the lights out, if you combine fastness with strength, without loosing the fastness, you are unstoppable. Bc as soon as you are training on strength, you will be less fast. Bruce was fast enough to not get his strikes on camera but could toss, two heads taler guys around, with one fist punch.
