Jackie Chan looks so confused about why people were laughing about his critiques. He’s so adorable 😂
Because most of them doesnt know the kind of stunts Jackie Chan has done. If they see that they will know this guy is for real.

I agree. In that guy's case, those jeans don't allow more room for him to angle his leg where he can perform a high kick. The shoes that he's wearing look comfortable for walking, but definitely not built to protect his feet for stunts.
What kills me is that as soon as he is told by Harvey that the dude is tryna kick the light, Jackie knows instantly, and says it instinctively that it’s the wrong shoes and pants😂😂
People forget how great a stuntman Jackie Chan is. He's so technical, he can tell if a stunt will fail with the smallest of details. His success wouldn't be possible without his dedication and attention to detail. What a legend.

Pulling out of a somersault too early or lack of speed is hardly the smallest of details. 😄 Still was hell impressive how he spotted the flaws in the big details so quickly.

Yeah, Jackie definitely knew his stunt work. Like the bit where he said the guy who took the fall in the first video would be OK, because it's true; if you're trained in stuntwork, you know how to break falls and roll in ways that minimize the injuries to your body. But that last video, where the guy slammed into the fence and it looks like all the force landed squarely on his hips or lower back, that leaves you with no way to diffuse the impact and I wouldn't be surprised if that guy suffered a spinal fracture or another kind of permanent back injury from it. >.

I absolutely love Jackie Chan. He’s my number one celebrity hero.
he was my childhood hero but now i know he is just Communist China propaganda
Raymond Acance me too
@Falconfest -- Ever wonder why though?
If you were a rich popular Chinese person with children, a wife and a huge fortune...that's all a sword over your head. He's probably been told to do and say certain things in order to keep his family, wealth, and his own reputation safe. I have a strong feeling that the China government keeps their celebrities on a tighter leash than what people would think.
Also, while I could never prove it... I know that Jackie Chan was born and raised in Hong Kong, and most Hong Kong citizens, didn't really want communist China ruling over them... I kind of think Jackie Chan feels more loyalty to Hong Kong than he does for a government he probably thinks of as more 'foreign' and restrictive than the British one he grew up knowing. Again, he grew up in a Hong Kong that under Brit rule everyone had a lot more personal freedom than what communist China rules allows.

Jackie Chan definitely knows stunts. He was mentored by Bruce Lee in earlier movies. Both were trained in martial arts. They did real punches, kicks, flips and jumps (even from high buildings). There were injuries on set, but the master and experts did not stop. Even to this day, I'm still in awe. 💪
Bruce Lee wasn't an acrobat or stuntman so he couldn't flip or jump and he wasn't even a superb kicker. Don't lie.

for me, hands down, Jackie will always be one (if not THE one) of those original actors that really does their own stunts. like he should be the name being mentioned when people talk about a legend who does everything. he literally almost died multiple times in a lot of films (specially in the Who Am I one) because of how dangerous his stunts were.
“If you say no your out” dang Jackie was dropping knowledge on that cutthroat business
Especially when he was coming up in Hong Kong, where there are no safety standards or labour laws.
In China and Hong Kong, if you don't do a stunt, you don't get paid for the day. You earn based on stunts you perform, not on your downtime in between them. It's tough, but that's how it is working over there. There are always many people standing by willing to do your job, often for less..

Jackie Chan is as down to earth as anyone. I remember when I heard he was in San Francisco's Chinatown, I headed down there as soon as I can just catch a glimpse of him. I was on a bus and noticed a huge crowd. The bus stopped and I was about to get off but before I could, Jackie gets on the bus. He starts shaking everyone's hands. The majority of people on that bus were Chinese, so Jackie was speaking Cantonese to them. I was around 14 years old then. This was around the time of Police Story and Project A era. He walked by and rubbed my head like I was a little kid and asked if I was doing good (in Cantonese). It was awesome. I was already a huge Jackie Chan fan and became an even bigger one after that.

Fist of fury too. He pretended to get hurt more so that he can have Bruce Lee's attention.
Every Jackie Chang fan knows all of these, you only need to watch a couple of popular Jackie Chang interviews, it's not a secret
It would be worse in Asian cinema. Where they have little padding, and if they get hurt they won't get paid if they don't make it in the shot
This guy is an absolute legend. Anyone who's watched his Chinese films when he was in his prime knows he does all his own dangerous stunts, risking his life and constantly injuring himself. In those films in the credits they always show the cuts where he's injured and some of them are brutal, but that was the Asian film industry back then

He reminds me of Sum Wukong
This was genius. One of the best segments I've watched on a talk show. I could watch Jackie analyze stunts all day. Keep it coming Steve.
