I'm changing the alternator on my son's 2019 Corolla LE. I went through quite a few videos before I found yours. This was the best step-by-step demonstration of all of them. You are correct the alternator for this car is expensive. It was like $400 after the core return. It is the Valeo. The auto part stores couldn't be sure of which replacement was correct without seeing the sticker off of the bad alternator.
Great video! Had a quote for 900 bucks to change out the alternator on my sons car. Was nervous cause I’m old school American made, I never worked on a transverse engine. Watched the video a couple of times. Everything went as planned, even the belt replacement. Saved me $600! Thanks Sir!
brooo you the best.... ive done replacements for 93-97 corollas but my 2014 corolla alternator died on me and i thought it was complicated but nope.u showed me how to proper do it.. thank u so much

@@trublu305 I most definitely will, but I do have one question. What do you know about Bluetooth radios? My Bluetooth turns on and off when he wants to. In the middle of listening to a song, it will turn off and the music will start playing from my phone instead. Why do you think that is?
@@truediamond8212 ok thank you and yea I've had that happened to me in couple cars but to be honest with you. To fix the issue you would have to replace the radio but which would cost $ so I've always just dealt with it anyway. Unless I already wanted to replace the radio in that car

I have a 2020 and the belt won’t get loose even when I unbolt the bolt you said will loosen it.
