When the movie RockStar came out. I went to the movies with some friends to see it. The moment they showed Mark Wahlberg singing "We all Die young " I was like hell no that is not Marky Mark singing that song. There's only guy, with that voice, and vocal ability. And that is Milijenko Matijevic, the lead singer for Steelheart.
Whenever I hear the band name, Steel Dragon, it makes me giggle... because it immediately makes me think of the movie line, from Tropic Thunder... "WE ARE FLAMING DRAGON!!!" So glad that movie got made when it did, it really made me understand how men bond with each other during times of struggle, whereas if you put women in that same situation, we would spend all our time trying to figure out who was in charge and how we can get as much as we can for as little effort as possible, while scheming against each other, forming cliques. You men rock, when times are hard! God love every one of you!
Im living proof that if your brother is in the 80s definitive boy band, you can weasel your way into being a half rate white rapper...and when that fails, you can reinvent yourself as an actor!

Last year I was in the hospital recovering from congestive heart failure and we didn't know if I was gonna leave that hospital on my feet or in a box I was in the hospital for 15 days and my sister asked me "Scotty if you don't pull through this and we have to bury you what do you want us to play for you? So I pulled out my phone and put it on RUclips and played this song with the lyric video and I let my sister hear it and watch the lyric video i said I want this because we all die young

Kevin, from what I understand, it started out that way. But when the people making the movie wanted to "Hollywoodize" it, Judas Priest said fine, whatever, we're out. This was said in an interview with Priest. You're right though. It's still based on the Judas Priest/Ripper Owens story. And you're right. Good movie.
I watched this movie with one of my ex girlfriends when it came out.She asked who the guitar player with the chain strap was. I told her its Zakk Wylde, he plays for Ozzy. Then she asked my who Ozzy was. I guess I forgot to mention that she became my ex halfway through the movie. 😁🤣
I thought Steelheart was a joke band in the 90's. I thought another ballad band trying to cash in. Then I saw this movie. I knew Steelheart did the Soundtrack going in, and the music blew me away. To Miljenko and the boys I'm so sorry for being so ignorant.
