      Not quite true as an amateur drummer of many years I can see that he stiff an not fluid and he would probably say the same, jamming is different from making a recording or doing a live gig. Having said that we have a guitar player in our band who can play drums a bit and I am the first to admit I can’t play guitar and I admire musicians who can play multiple instruments... not all at the same time 😂 David Gilmour is probably my number 1 favourite guitar player closely followed by Eric Clapton.

Atmospheric blues and rock of the soul. Freeing and like a feather that floats gracefully never seeing its land. Without care. Without negative ..only being peaceful. I bought a Mexican strat. It looks like his a special edition but not the black strat he had signed but the affordable like option I guess. I hope to get my own but similar effects to try and solo behind my music i write. Never words just music. I must find my winds to set that feather on its flight smiling without care comfortable and euphoric.

    Most guitarists can splat about the kit a bit.
    But he is genuinely very good and could easily pass for a drummer all day long.
    He's got to be one of the coolest fellas the world has ever seen.
    Yet there seams to be no ego.
    He's appears very humble given his talents and fame.
    But I've never met him.
    I love the way he is all about the quality of what the listener experiences.
    And how he can continue to always make that as close to recordings as he can.
    Without asking you to worship him, like most modern celebrities.
    It's just about listening to what he is playing and singing.
    What a class act.
    He's got to be crap at something tho.
    I mean. I bet his wallpapering skills are awful.
    Or he makes a shite cup of tea.

      He played guitar (string type), saxophone (flute type) & now drums... So basically he is the master of all... Now i just need to see a video where he is playing keyboard or piano, even though i know a musician with this much of musical knowledge, he can easily play it... But still i just wanna see... :)

    • @UncleHappy5
      @UncleHappy5 8 лет назад +3

      Ishmam shahir I finally learned rhythm guitar a few months ago, and I've only just begun dabbling in lead after only knowing how to play keyboard for years. Even after getting a bit better at it, I still find keyboard to be WAY easier, so it wouldn't surprise me if he can do it.

    • @ishmamshahir9707
      @ishmamshahir9707 8 лет назад +3

      Yahhh... xD
      But its also true that, no matter how well one can play keyboard... Rick was something else... His sense of music was way above average... I personally think he is the best :)

    • @UncleHappy5
      @UncleHappy5 8 лет назад +1

      Ishmam shahir If you listen to their solo albums, you really get a sense of what they specifically brought to the group. Rick and David's albums were really fantastic.
