Alan. If ever there was a polite, educated man to represent our sport to the public it is you. Well done on a great representation of our sport and well handled ! cheers keith
It's why we spend more on carp care than our actual kit. So we can get them back in prestine condition so we can catch them when they bigger. Children should fish rather than spending money on games. Beside if you buy fishing gear you will never have cash for drugs. Well said 👍 Alen
nice to see you filming for nash Carl, i was wondering if you also do the editing or just the filming? as the editing was brilliant and suites the urban feel :)
Yeah well she got her way - the Council plan was to poison all the fish. (unless they passed EA health checks and could be moved). I don't know how many actually got moved.
Derek Bradley-Balmer yeah she did get her way because she didn’t know what she was going on about and she started saying about looking at things as a whole yet she was pigeon holding and stereotyping the angling community
The juxtaposition of the older lady & her 'killing wildlife' (21:24) mind set & the little kid & his grandparents (25:40) was fantastic - bravo Urban Banx 10/10. "You want a joint before you go?" (16:33) - I nearly spat my Stella out !! LOL
The smile on the little boys face totally blew the woman's ideas out the water,Alan handled that situation well.top man.look forward to more urban banx from nash.
Peeeek al an be honest did old woman Carrie reak of piss? u stood firm. Poilete but fair ,any way nice to see u and or mate put them on the bank can you help I live in Luton Bedfordshire I fish river Lea for carp i getting Rudd hell I tryed harder boiilles they like bloody Paraná bait gone in 10mins would single zigs be any good?
I know I'm very late with this(years late ) but this video is amazing . I've been a angler since a child and this is why I wouldn't ever fish these type of places . I understand her point of view but don't agree with it and I've always fished with a touch of guilt or acceptance that it's not the most helpful thing in the world to nature (let's just be honest ). It's a bit of a battle I have with myself . But certainly loads of kids love seeing anglers and it's a case of understanding all the points of view and not attacking either perspective . Seeing the child at the end with his grandparents made me so happy. You guys dealt with this whole situation amazingly in my opinion . Great video .
I had to hit the Like button for this one! Excellent video- great fishing and the way you handled the ranting woman in the park was brilliant. Thank you for the way you represented anglers- great job!
Another fantastic episode of Urban Banx guys. Fair play to Alan for not losing his rag with the miserable moaning woman. I thought he conducted himself very well and was a great advocate for angling as a whole. My only criticisms about urban banx would be that it's over too quickly and we have to wait for too long for the next adventure....LoL Great work guys, keep it up
100% respect for not only showing the lady who was against angling (you could have quite easily just edited all that out of the video!) - But, also respect for the sensible way you handled the situation. It would have been very tempting to resort to the type of sarcastic comments she was making, but instead, you conducted yourself very well & on behalf of the other 4+million anglers! You did yourself & the sport no harm whatsoever. I have a lot of time for both you, and your excellent attitude. Thanks from an angler of over 55years.
Awesome video!!!! And Alans words after the woman gave him an ear bashing where spot on!!!! :) Fishing from a young age is an amazing thing and I feel people like that woman are missing out on a pukka way to spend your youth with your mates growing up instead of doing all the things some kids now days like to get up to. Well done Alan your a star mate!!!! :D
I fish park lakes and know what it's like to encounter these sort of people. Top marks for being polite, respectful and level headed towards her. It's no good being violent and aggressive. You're a superb ambassador for this sport.
j'adore les Urban Banx c'est vraiment un super partage de notre passion avec Alan Blair qui nous montre de son point de vue, sa façon de voir les chose avec toujours le sourire et la bonne humeur :)
Respect to the urban banx team for putting that clip in!! It was a brave decision !! Stepping the game up again with better locations, shots & editing. Keep em coming your an insperation!!
i was hooked up in an urban enviroment between 2 office buildings in amsterdam, when suddenly the receptionist came to me with all the same crap Alan got thrown to him... when i finally netted the beast the workers in the other office building took notice and all came out the window cheering ..very funny situation...love your vids Alan great quality
Alan your a hero mate, Delt with that lady like an absolute pro. You have finally became my favourite Fisherman and your love and passion for the sport is great. Keep up the good work mate. X
This is absolutely brilliant lads, top marks have to go to Alan as he handled the situation absolutely superbly, then the footage that follows on is testament to what Alan explains in the video, appreciation of wildlife through angling. Please pass this on to Al if you read this Nash.
I am a 13 gear old angler and I have been fishing for a couple of years and I am strict only Catch and release I fish as much as I can and I could not help noticing the lady saying fishing was a bad thin. But thanks to fishing I am not sitting inside all day at a computer but outside a couple hours a day and enjoying the weather. Thanks to Nash and all your incredible videos it was you that helped me with learning tactics and methods to the fishing. Thighs lines and whet nets :)
Alan, you are a credit to the whole angling community. You showed great reserve and patience there, and gave her a very considerate and reasoned response. The fact she wouldn't shake your hand shows just how up herself she really is. Crazy cow.
Well done to Alan and the gang. Fantastic edition to Urban Banx....who knows what the docks hold..maybe a monster. Cheers guys, can't wait for the next one.
I've lived in Bristol on and off for a tally of nearly 35 years, and the docks have played a large role as it is soo central to life in Bristol. I'm also personally close to the docks having lived in a narrow boat briefly and now regularly sailing there, but this video has surprised and delighted me seeing a completely different perspective on the city. Really enoyed seeing Bristol through your eyes and the passion for your sport. With regard to Eastville park, it's purpose has always been for leisure and the stock is there to fish. Bristol welcomes you. Thouroughly enjoed seeing this, keep it up.
These urban banx videos are very inspiring and have got me tackling my own urban banx in Hull. Oli's filming is top noch and alan is a credit not only to fishing but to us people who get labeled as no good chavs because of what we wear (true gent). Alan handled the situation with the old lady spot on and even made her smile :) keep it up everyone at nash and maybe see you in urban Hull one day. Thanks lads
You get maxi maxi points for the way you give such a great representation of our sport !! Fantastic !!!!!! You handled the situation perfectly !!!!! You could not have done it better ! AND all the video is so motivating !!!! Great job !!!!!!!!!
I'm 15 and have been fishing since I can remember, I live the sport and wouldn't stop doing what I love the most. That women had no clue what she was talking about, if only she knew how good of an angler you were and how you treat the fish. It's a shame that some people can ruin what we love best though; people leaving litter etc. They give anglers a bad name and then we get judged as one and that we're all the same "nature killers". Anyway well done Alan and Jordan! Can't wait for next one ;)
Well done to the nash team for this vid 99.9% of people would have cut the old dear kicking off with alan great stuff looking forward to the next instalment
Great video! Alan your passion for the sport is admirable, that's why we fish! And how you dealt with that lady so calmly and professionally I don't know because she was really winding me up! Respect guys!
think alans passion for fishing is so good, love how your input for the younger generation to get involved. I wouldnt be suprisedif you were heavyily invovled with alex and carls vidoes, there such good lads, well done mate
Amazing episode, like other people have said in the comments you handled the women brilliantly and as an angler (aged 18)myself I have very similar views as Alan. Quality tunes once again
Well done Alan, that was brilliantly handled! Another superb film, Urban Banx is head and shoulders better than anything else on the net. I smashed my PB a couple of years ago on a canal in deepest darkest Tipton in the west mid's. I was on receiving end of some of the same rubbish as well. Unfortunately, that fish along with 3 other big fish I had have all now vanished. May be if there had been a few more anglers on there this wouldn't have happened. I tried to explain this to the ignorant anti after they went but they still wouldn't have it. Well done Nash, keep up the good work!
Top drawer Alan, urban banx is different from all other carp videos....and once again its Mr Blair's enthusiasm that drives this video, quality from Nash TV.
Being a lure angler I must say I fully enjoyed this vid. Great work lads. And as for that rude woman I duno how Alan dent tell her to do one. He was being respectful n she was just being a idiot to be fair. It's great for young kids to get in to fishing. There's a lot worse things they could be doing. Angling does make a difference to people's lifes. Loved it lads !!
Wow Alan great video so inspirational to anyone looking to do the same, and we must say you dealt with that busy body in the park, better than most, hats off!
been following you and olly for a while now and one thing I can honestly say is I have never seen a fish being harmed or mistreated and any way shape or form by either of you, well handled with the old lady chap, I'm from south bristol myself and one thing I can honestly say is if that park was in my neck of the woods you would have had a much warmer reception and understanding of what and why you were there, highly enjoyed the video mucker nice to see someone from further a field come and give our docks a bash, and I now have a better ideal on what time roughly to fish for carp in the docks thanks again
amazing video, amazing soundtrack and amazing editing as standard from nash! and Alan Blair is the man! will have to give St. Georges park a go after work one evening! 'You want a joint before you go?' gotta love bristol
Respect! Some would have handled that situation a lot worse and given Anglers a bad rep. She was not open for debate, single minded with too much time on her hands.. Amazing videos my kids (5&8) love fishing, they cannot get enough of it.
Cracking video as always, agree with you totally, and the little lad with his grandparents coming over straight after the jobsworth lady just before put into perspective your argument lol, I'm always amazed at people's reactions when they see you with your catch, 9 times outta 10 it's the same as the the reaction from the boy and family the old lady is the 1 in 10, set in their ways not prepared to see the joy it brings to people
Another great video, it brought back memories. I used to take my boys surface fishing there when they were little. Like you say they are pretty clued up, as they have seen it all before! Now as young men they still have a passion for the sport.
im 14, been fishing since 2 years old so 12 odd years never killed or hurt a fish... my 'classmates' all drink, smoke, cause havoc on the streets while im fishing its something to get into to stop drugs and other stuff... anyway lads amazing video whens the next? (im re watching them all)
There are worse things people could be doing in a park than fishing, that woman doesnt know what she is on about. Well done Nash for defending our sport that weall take pride in and enjoy. Well done lads
Well done lads great watch that woman was a little bit off a pain but you handle her stupid remarks very well and also nice to see Carl enjoying his new job.
Big up lads. Carl doin' the biz behind the camera, love it. Al's enthusiasm and love for the sport is so infectious. As usual nothing but inspirational. P.S get a track list up for these vids TUNES!
Mate, you got proper verbally spanked by the hater lol Loved the way you dealt with tho, well done Alan. Get on the party boat!!! Shame to hear the fish were being removed from the waters. Another great Urban Banx Mr Blair & Co.
Another awesome video. Love the drum and bass. You handled the lady really well. Bit strange she didn't mind you fishing the canal???? Thumbs up to you all, keep it up.
Another awesome urban banx episode, well done mate and a true ambassador for the sport we all love, definitely should have just pushed that lady in haha, behind the line of course 😜
this episode was amazing and i can't get enough of it cannot wait to see the next one :D keep it up nash and alan you a legend mate i just know me and you would get along like peas in a pod especially fishing and the music is just insane, keep it up!
Nice one, new Urban-Banx on a Friday! sets the weekend up nicely. Defo going carping tomoz now. Top work as usual, these are some of the most inspirational and best put together bits of media around at the mo, show casing fishing better than anything on the tele by far. Fair play for letting the lady say her piece, shame that like a lot of so called environmentalists, she was a bit of a mentalist. Not level headed enough to realize where Alan was coming from. :) Keep-em coming please
A friend of mine told me about this vid and your catch in the docks, I just had to see it for myself...dam! Some awesome fish there guys, I've only just started course fishing (probably about the same time you were down there) and have had a good few bream out just around from where you guys were. That lady at the park - lol. Torturing fish?? I'm getting both my 5 year old daughter and my 8 year old son into fishing and already they are more concerned with making sure the fish are ok and going back healthily than actually catching anything. I agree with you, respect for our environment and wildlife comes from being so close to it. You learn alot about the fish and it's surroundings and I think that gives you instant respect for it. Nice one guys, maybe see ya down the docks one day
Another amazing video by Alan and the boys at Nash.... Most entertaining fishing program out there by far. And has for that old bint, Alan did well not to judo throw into the lake. So whats she saying is its OK to ''touchier'' fish in rivers and channels but not in ponds??? contradiction of the year or what... anyway spot on again lads.
Caught the last fish five years ago weighing 21.3lb happy to see its still in there gonna have to try get him again and good vid nash as always fair play
Another cracking episode. It said it all how that young boy was excited about the fish.. if only that wonan was still there to see.. as said before you dealt with that situation very well. Should give the town park at telford a try. Some good good fish in a couple of the balancing lakes ,0)
Great video and you guys are a tribute to anglers and people like that woman clearly don't know the difference between real anglers and noddys and to say children shouldn't do the sport is absolutely silly as my best memories fishing as a youngster with my uncle and friends and as ya say keeps ya from getting in trouble which is to easy for kids now days. Big up Alan for keeping his cool
Once again another class video well done to both of you for catching some stunners and back in the day people would of been hunting to kill at least we take care of the fish and wildlife and when we do catch fish we can be a good hand on helping them on their way if they have some sores etc. i do think she over exaggerated on what you were doing and you were causing no harm but she is entitled to her opinion just like us all. Nevertheless fishing is a sport and as long as we are respecting what we do then all is well. :)
Awesome man thank you so much for this video. I live in Bristol close to the park and actually avoid it due to the witch hunt group "Friends of St george park". The Docks is a fantastic place to Fish but you have inspired me with those massive Carp. I knew they were there but just to see living proof is brilliant.
Watching all these urban banx vids and carl and alexs adventures in their local lake is real inspiration to get up and go see whats around my area. So past few days ive been google earthing everything. Local canal here is not a winner and some lakes are completely empty, i found a lake and a friend says its got carp problem is its on farm land in massive woods. I may fish this for a night under camo gear.
Patience Mr Blair you handled her very well, bless the old lady's cotton sock's , what else is she going to do in her retirement, lots of time on her hands to start a hate campaign against us southwest anglers, great vid lads
Props to Alan for handling the angry woman with professionalism. He definitely won the verbal battle lol
Alan very well i think at this Situation i will kick the old woman to her wildlife iland... holy fck
Alan. If ever there was a polite, educated man to represent our sport to the public it is you. Well done on a great representation of our sport and well handled !
cheers
keith
here here!
It's why we spend more on carp care than our actual kit. So we can get them back in prestine condition so we can catch them when they bigger. Children should fish rather than spending money on games. Beside if you buy fishing gear you will never have cash for drugs.
Well said 👍 Alen
Probably wouldve put her in the lake 😂🤷🏼♂️
Never seen such a busy body no good bag of hot air
Well done NashTV, done it again! The lady was so funny, and the film told a really nice story :)
Alex
nice to see you filming for nash Carl, i was wondering if you also do the editing or just the filming? as the editing was brilliant and suites the urban feel :)
Thanks Jason, all the editing was done by Winston. Although I did help drag some clips into the timeline for the intro sequence. Lol :)
She also didn’t have many decent arguments for her point
*****' perfect timing ' indeed.........
My only criticisms about urban banx would be that it's over too quickly and we have to wait for too long for the next adventure....LoL
Great work guys, keep it up
Nicely done Alan, a true ambassador to carp fishing. Keeping calm and trying to explain to the lady what carp angling is all about! Cheers m8!
Great video. Superb handling of the old lady, then the kid came along and was fascinated by the carp minutes later...great timing!
SMHOZZ83 Alan did great
I fish park lakes and know what it's like to encounter these sort of people.
Keep em coming your an insperation!!
i was hooked up in an urban enviroment between 2 office buildings in amsterdam, when suddenly the receptionist came to me with all the same crap Alan got thrown to him... when i finally netted the beast the workers in the other office building took notice and all came out the window cheering ..very funny situation...love your vids Alan great quality
good to see that some fishermen are respectful of over people views and good to see the younger generation love fishing
Alan your a hero mate, Delt with that lady like an absolute pro. You have finally became my favourite Fisherman and your love and passion for the sport is great. Keep up the good work mate. X
A big thumbs up from all the lads at AM HQ who have thoroughly enjoyed this one. Top work all-round again. Respect to all the Urban Banx crew!
Whoever edits these videos is a bloody genius. Superb addition to the urban banx series. Very entertaining!
Trout Fishing Wales.........why say this? You a heratic?! You should know fly fishing is the ONLY way!!!
Jonathon Roberts I enjoy all forms of fishing... fly fishing being my most preferred style!
Fly fishing takes people to a higher place unlike lowly bait fishing.......................clearly you are not a real flyfisherman.
You handled the lady well Alan, and good to see Carl behind the camera. Top video again mate
This is absolutely brilliant lads, top marks have to go to Alan as he handled the situation absolutely superbly, then the footage that follows on is testament to what Alan explains in the video, appreciation of wildlife through angling. Please pass this on to Al if you read this Nash.
Your a true ambassador for our sport Alan, respectfull and inteligent. Well done pal.
Well handled. A great ambassador and great video. I admire your positivity towards her despite the unprovoked attack!

Great work for being so patient with that lady at the park - a great ambassador for fishing!

'How do we get on that boat!?' True fishermen!! Great vid lads.
Epic as always guys and well done Alan on the way in which you handled the woman on the park lake. Good to see the new team member at work too Carl
Mate your amazing ... The way you treated the little children is great

Wicked video lads, you would never think you could catch such nice carp out of waters like that, great angling guys
Want a joint before you go 🤣🤣 brilliant & top man for staying polite during your confrontation 👍 legend
Respect! Some would have handled that situation a lot worse and given Anglers a bad rep. She was not open for debate, single minded with too much time on her hands..
Amazing videos my kids (5&8) love fishing, they cannot get enough of it.

Louis Radley all his urban banx / euro banx are worth watchin more than once
madness when ya that age and all your mates are smoking, drinking and doing drugs.. all those things even better when out fishing !
Superb video chaps, the filming, editing and the way the video is put together is first class! Even loving the music and I'm a 90's britpop lad!
Totally agree with you I'm 14 been fishing since I was 10 and absolutely love it
There are worse things people could be doing in a park than fishing, that woman doesnt know what she is on about.
Well done Nash for defending our sport that weall take pride in and enjoy.
Well done lads
once again brilliant urban vid. alan and jordan your smiles say it all. keep it up :)
Well done lads great watch that woman was a little bit off a pain but you handle her stupid remarks very well and also nice to see Carl enjoying his new job.
Great video. I lived in Bristol for 10 years ago and never would have guessed there were fish that size in the docks.
13.40 - I've wheeled this bit up so many times to hear that tune!!
Big up lads. Carl doin' the biz behind the camera, love it. Al's enthusiasm and love for the sport is so infectious. As usual nothing but inspirational. P.S get a track list up for these vids TUNES!
Awesome movie guys. Was a joy to watch :)

Every time I watch you vids I have a huge smile lol
Mustard bro
Alan you handled the parks "Police" very well I must say i wouldn't of been able to keep my calm as well as you did. also a great video.
Mate, you got proper verbally spanked by the hater lol Loved the way you dealt with tho, well done Alan. Get on the party boat!!! Shame to hear the fish were being removed from the waters. Another great Urban Banx Mr Blair & Co.
Stunning video mate. Love to watch the Urban Banx stuff.
tight lines and best wishes from germany
How perfect that moments after the irate old ratbag came along, you got to show the joy of angling to a local kid!
Another excellent video! Really makes me want to ditch work and get out there with my rods....! Well done!
As always! WOW.. Great video guys! Love everything about it!
Big up once again :D Epic stuff. Props for representin Holland aswell with the Kwo snapback and.Dope to see carl on the team.
I'm not a fisherman but my mate who is directed me here - it was an interesting video and Alan articulated his points well.
Great video guys, the old lady was hilarious
Another awesome video. Love the drum and bass. You handled the lady really well. Bit strange she didn't mind you fishing the canal???? Thumbs up to you all, keep it up.
Another awesome urban banx episode, well done mate and a true ambassador for the sport we all love, definitely should have just pushed that lady in haha, behind the line of course 😜
Yeah it was really good when he lol at a dead bird...................oh such respect for nature and fish.........bla bla bla bla
Another must see video. Highly original viewing! ☺
this episode was amazing and i can't get enough of it cannot wait to see the next one :D keep it up nash and alan you a legend mate i just know me and you would get along like peas in a pod especially fishing and the music is just insane, keep it up!
Wish i'd seen these guys around Bristol when they were filming, would have loved to have met them. Great video guys, keep them coming
Alan you are a fantastic Carpangler! Have a nice Year! ~Lovely Times~
Really great video, hip and cool. Great for the sport.
Caught the last fish five years ago weighing 21.3lb happy to see its still in there gonna have to try get him again and good vid nash as always fair play
I agree with Alan as I grew up with fishing and it taught me alot and kept me out of trouble
The shot at 4:09 was incredible, the depth of field was :o
Bokehlicious lens that one ;)
Oli Davies Haha Bokehliscious. I like that word. :D
£££
Oli Davies You watch DigitalRev then Olie ;-)
Another cracking episode. It said it all how that young boy was excited about the fish.. if only that wonan was still there to see.. as said before you dealt with that situation very well. Should give the town park at telford a try. Some good good fish in a couple of the balancing lakes ,0)
Quality.
My kind of fishing. The docs look awsome
very well played with handling that woman. Another great video :)
Another brilliant video guys! Wish I had more places like that where I live
Wicked as per usual. Editing was a work of art.
Tom :D
tourturing the fish 😂😂 good vid alan im 15 and if someone came over to me like that it wouldnt change my views on fishing.
Brilliant Brilliant film, great entertainment, love Bristol. Pity about Mary Whitehouse in the park
