The movie was pretty good. I LOVED Juliannes character. Sex is more than yourself feeling good, it's about connecting with someone. It shouldn't be fake or what looks good. Pleasure comes from so many areas.
And Scarlett Johansson is all so modest, and Gordon-Levitt is all so happy. I think Gordon-Levitt did not waste his money on this film, it was worth it. Ultimately, money is needed to spend it on happiness.

Great press conference. And they had some talk about the most touchy subject at hand. Julianne talked about those different stereotyped cultures. Scarlett even went so far as to say she thinks girls watch _more_ porn than guys. That's debatable, but Pornhub stats and other surveys go some part of the way of discovering a well hidden "iceberg". The satirical aspect is what makes this film work, exposing the difficulties don juan and the princess have with interacting in real life. The question about this film maybe setting a bad example (exposing porn consumption so casually) was plainly answered by Tony Danza, as he said au contraire… This is a cautionary tale, setting out to portray clichés of quite common behaviour and how those can interfere with us living the life we want to live. What makes this film a bit hard to watch is the shere amount of immature behaviour of the title character. The fact he's blind enough to believe hardcore porn is a model of real life sex is not the issue. He is superficial in so many other ways… Through the muscle/gym culture. In avoiding personal contact when he's offered it. In believing going to church and confessing his "sins" will make him a more mature human being. Avoiding interaction with people, to help them - not offering to help a crying person he meets in school. And making blatant lies to people you care for, at the same time debasing his very own behaviour. There is much to learn.
apparently smoking weed does not make your Stupid This Kid Levitt, announced on Letterman that he was smoking weed with seth rogen in Canada and,, judging by his décor, his cadence, his inflection regarding this film he wrote, casted, starred in, directed, and produced, he is Clearly a Modern Living Genius (btw, I personally do not, nor have I ever, smoked Cannibis, Hash, Schwag, etc -- not prejudiced.) I hope to god he continues to do well and succeed and the drugs don't take toll on him
