Love your delivery. Informative without fluff. Your explanation of the techniques you use to fish the bait were straightforward, something a ton of fisherman struggle with. Subscribed and looking forward to more videos.
Thanks man. This isnt hard. It’s a man made pond and requires man made maintenance. No different than a yard. Expecting “Mother Nature” to come mow the grass is as foolish as expecting Her to stock the pond properly. Ponds have limited space for fish so we only want the fish that mix well together. Thanks for the follow. Much more will be coming
Love these baits . I used he same color but with 8" Bellows stick. 5/O EWG ,15 lb Braid,20lb floro leader. Weightless Texas Rig. Tried different retrieves . You can fish all kinds of ways. I did a bond cast, then 2 big rips through the water, let it sink Then Boom. Love these baits. The smaller sizes are REALLY tiny. I ALWAYS throw BIG baits. I want to weed out juveniles. Can;t wait to try my Gills . Thanks and keep casting
First off i just want to say thank u for this video, 6 months ago watching this put me on this 5.8 bait, i bought them instantly, the rig that work more for me was a shorter straight shank 5/0 hook weightless with a spring keeper giving the plastic more action more realistic look as its sinking…
I picked up the smaller ones after seeing one of your first vids on Insta, have had success fishing it on the Owner 2/0 underspin. I need to go up in size and see how it does for me. Thanks for the great video!
I bought some of these and when I got them in the mail, I scratched my head as to how to fish them. Your video ironed that out. I'll get back to you, later, after I put then to the litmus-test. I have the perfect lake to try them out.
Been using these for months. Works amazing! I have only had good solid bites! 3 plus pound bass. So when one hits I know it’s a good one! It’s my go to bait on grass edges and rock ledges!
I sont have the geecrack versiom but i do have the thunderhawk version. Haven't put too much time into it but i plan on it. I picked them up because of the 8 pounder you caught on one a while ago.
Good review, never thought about fishing it with a blade. I've done well using an unweighted 8/0 Owner beast, wrapping a little lead tape around the hook and fishing it like a Fluke.
@@aquaticbiologist6516 interesting, I have fished for (vild) sea run trout in the Baltic Sea. I’ve often seen fish follow the bait, intensely inspecting the bait and often deciding to not strike. As an amateur, the conclusion is that they use sight more to hunt.
They are using lateral line as well as vision. They work together. They can feel your fishing line in the water even if they can’t see it. It may be the vibration making them refuse your lure
Take a 1.4 oz jack hammer take off blade put on chatterbait big blade put on 5.8 bellowsgill chart.or watermellon.use glue.last longer I only throw summer time june July Aug sometimes can start early or can go late .also use 3.8 body have two rods rigged with both.try it it don't catch small ones.
Well the secret is definitely out because tackle wharehouse is sold out of all the 5.8 and 8 inch bellows stick😢. Damn the internet! It’s making EVERYONE A FISHERMAN!! I’m old enough to remember when fishing wasn’t cool and now it’s so much pressure on our fisheries you can’t even hardly get a bite. Good review though but damn nobody knows how to keep their mouths shut unfortunately!!!

@@aquaticbiologist6516dude ngl that made no sense at all

The new bellows shad is coming out soon. I will get a review at iCast

Sure man, glad it helped.

Thanks man, good information

I don’t get a ton of bites with the big ones but the bites I get are solid fish

I have had the same experience, it seems to trigger larger fish
I've been looking at it for a dock flipping bait. Just has a really good bait fish profile. The bellows gill and bellows shad.
You can’t go wrong with either 👍
Cool lure! The vibration factor from that ribbed body structure is very different from other soft plastics.

the most baddest ass bait ever made
I have had great success with this one👍

Now this sounds like something I wanna try 👍
👊
pleated is a great description.
I was trying to think of the baffled like on a motor
Great review Shan!
Thanks very much
That lure would work in muddy or stained water focus being on the lateral line. Maybe even a trailer on a jig !
I’ve done both and you are exactly right 👍
Great review,I believe I seen someone talk about this lately,it looks like a legit bait 👍
Very informative!!
Glad it was helpful!
I like them what's the price look like I fish a highly pressured pond so anything that looks different will work
They are not cheap. Make sure to use the screw lock so they last
First time I tried it the water temperature was 38 I caught a bass on my first cast with it
Nice
@aquaticbiologist6515 , does trout also use their lateral line in hunting as much or do they use sight more?
They use lateral line. One study I read a while back was looking at poor lateral line development in hatchery raised trout

What’s the make and model of the silicone stopper on the hook?
Not sure on that exact one, it’s been the box a while. Gamakatzu XL stoppers work
If you haven't tried throwing it on a free rig, you definitely need to give that a shot. It's money.
I have used it on a free rig and you are correct. Good observation

That’s a good idea. Thanks
Sorry if this was confusing, I will make another video in the field and rephrase this stuff so I’m clear. Thanks for following
Wow! This was very informative and helpful. I have been considering this bait, but didn’t have a clear idea of how to rig/fish it. Thank you.

If the fish was blind and depend on Vibration, then why would color matter?
No
It wasn't a yes or no Question.....@@aquaticbiologist6516
Keep playing with it like that and your hands will stink forever. Geecrack has the most smelly soft plastics I've smelled.
🤣
