How. HOW??? HOW did you guys decide to pick the Full EV mode on the Ioniq 5 N???
Yes picking the Full EV mode “differentiates it from other gas cars in the game” but THIS is one of the first REAL enthusiast EV specifically because of the shifting and noises. The shifting and noises are SO GOOD that you can put someone in one with a blindfold and they would think it was gas. The defining feature of the car isn’t the drift mode, it’s the ability to shift your own gears and be able to hear where you are in the rev range to set up for a corner… LIKE A GAS CAR.
Maybe the Games Ageing Core Code (it dates back to FM5) was not able to Replicate the N Mode as well as the other 2?
Thing is, in Drift mode in the real car, it locks you to the full EV one gear mode so that could be a reason why as well. But what I think they could have done is in AWD mode to have it use the simulated gears, and in Drift mode use the EV mode
@@PanHyridae I think a mix of the two (Xbox One-era code artifacts, a need to have one clear sound for the car) is the real answer, they just don't want to fully explain that driving modes in-game only change the way the drivetrain works when it comes to non-cosmetic effects, and it'd be cost-prohibitive for one car to get all-new mechanics like a complete audio change and a manual gearbox with the press of a button at the likely tail end of a live service model, not when all other cars, even the ICEs, get only one set of audio files that can be changed with engine swaps or intake and exhaust upgrades. The convertibles already in the game only get cosmetic and interior audio handling changes when the top is down, so it isn't new.
Maybe FH6 will introduce this finally but for now all EVs will be treated as EVs, regardless of what the car actually can do. It's probably better for FH's stance on environmentalism and sustainability anyway.
I can't believe we're getting KITT in Forza!! That's gonna be awesome. My only thing is instead of making Super Pursuit Mode a body kit, they should have set it up to where you press the left thumb stick like the AMG One does to switch from highway to track mode. But I can deal with it.
The KITT modelled is one from S1, and thus does not have SPM by Default, SPM came in with the Fourth Rebuild in the Opening 2 Part of S4.

@@dbmabe True, maybe if KITT Returns for FH6 they can Remodel it as the S4 Version so SPM can be Instantly Accessible, complete with Transformation Animations and 500 MPH+ Top Speed, that would be Epic.

Outside of the Yaris GR, and the Mustang Dark Horse, this is insanely underwhelming. WE DON’T NEED MORE ELECTRIC CARS! Also, WHY THE TAYCAN CROSS TURISMO? WHY NOT THE PANAMERA SPORT TURISMO? God damn this EV obsession is getting old.

When they said a highly requested car was coming I thought maybe the mc20 basically every other racing game has it or maybe the gt3 rs. But nope. We get more vacuums that will be used once and never touched again

The Highly Requested Cars are the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse and the 2021 Toyota GR Yaris, both within the top 20 (the Yaris was in fact number 4) most voted Cars on SHUB.
I'm sorry but they lack a lot of content, there are too many 3-door hatchbacks and too many electric cars, I don't think they have released new licenses and brands, the map of Mexico is big but it lacks a lot of love, there aren't even traffic lights, I know because I'm from Mexico
Add more options such as lowering and raising electric windows, being able to move the lights ourselves, being able to change the seats, steering wheel and color of the upholstery, also the safety cage, like in GTA, being able to put stickers on the windows.
1. The Car Companies decide what goes into the Game, and when, PGG can make suggestions, but Ultimately the Car Companies, as they control the Licenses, have Final Say.
2. The Map cannot be Redesigned without Recoding the whole game from Scratch, the map was indeed designed without love, as Mike Brown, and PGG confirmed this, was so Obsessed with "the Eliminator" that the whole Map was designed around it to such a Point that every other consideration, even the road layout, was Secondary to supporting "the Eliminator".
3. The Problem with Windows and Lights is that the Standard Xbox Controller has very few Buttons, this means they have to be Controlled with Context Sensitive Inputs, and as anyone old enough to Remember the First 2 TDU Games will attest, those controls are a Pain to use and they do not really fit with the "All Ages" Casual Nature of Horizon.
4. Sadly, I doubt the Games Graphics Engine, which dates back to FM5, is able to Support the Ability to Recolor the Interior beyond a couple of bits of "Exterior Matched" Trim. It is a very old Engine now with a lot of Technical Restrictions as a Result.
5. Ralph Fulton Confirmed that PGG were looking at Window Stickers for FH4, but were forced to Stop when Several of the High End Luxury Car Brands took offense and threatened to Remove their Licenses.
It is what is I am afraid.

Still waitin on the iroc. I was bummed when I missed the terminator cobra season. It’s hard to keep track when they got a series you’re not interested in then you dip and they got a new series with everything you want. Then you miss it cuz you get caught up with life. Me sad boy

Stuck in a licensing limbo, McLaren and Mercedes can't make up their mind on who owns the license of that car, sadly, it might never come to another game ever again.

@@jamiro5307 Because they got it before Mercedes and McLaren went into war, Gran Turismo got is as a deal for Sport and 7, and The Crew devs got it as a deal for TC2, MF and maybe another game, Forza does car licenses for every single game independently, in short, licenses are a pain.
No simulated DCT, no simulated engine sound, and no NGB on i5N? Without them its just a buffed up version of EV6 GT that also being added, i5N should not be treated like this since it was made to be "differentiated" from other boring EVs that FH5 already have plenty of. Just why... You guys had a really, really big mistake :(

@@TheMatps Lets see what they are going to do with FH6, Torben Ellert has Publicly Stated that the Direction Mike Brown took the Series in with 4/5 "does not work", so 6 is going to "go in a completely different Direction to any previous Horizon Game", so lets see what he is cooking up for 6 before we completely write PGG off, as Tempting as it is to do so.., just Remember that whatever Direction they take however has to fit within a PEGI 3/ESRB E Rating as Microsoft made those Ratings *Mandatory* for all Future Forza Games in 2019, so please do not expect a return to FH1. They could return to FH2 for inspiration however...

All they have to do is give us the option to change the transmission in the Ioniq 5N and it could add the engine noise. Or make it a engine swap that doesn’t add any power just switches it to manual mode
I don't like electric cars because here in england they barely fit in a lane, majority find them unaffordable, and they are slow cars that hold up traffic as they drive soo slowly around roundabouts and any roads with a bit of cornering

It’s the GR Yaris
It was a “Highly Requested Car” that is mentioned in the preview for Series 35 if you have a look at the end of this Series overview. The most requested car was the Nissan Tsuru, which was introduced in “Día de Muertos”, if I’m right on the series.
But in this case, the highly requested car is the Toyota GR Yaris.

Good update👍 But starting with FH6 I hope that a new map will be released every year that matches the size of the main map🙏 Mexico is really beautiful, but years in it is too much. Hot Wheels & Sierra Nueva couldn't help with that.
Maybe they could do something like ETS2 and Expand the Map with an all new Area every 6 Months? Motorfest is doing that next Season with a new Maui Map directly Attached to Oahu via a big Bridge, so... maybe PGG could do something Similar for FH6?
@@simeonyves5940 Great ideas too. I just hope this "one map/Forza Horizon part" mentality comes to an end with part 6. I think that if part 6 only comes out for PC & the current console generation (the old generation has done enough and can go into their well-deserved retirement), they have enough hardware power to make this happen. @@silbirobi Matt Booty has Confirmed that Gen 8/8.5 is now End of Support, and that all post 2023 Microsoft First Party Games are going to be Exclusive to Gen 9 (Series S/X and with potential for a PS5 port) and PC, so 6 will have the Hardware Power Available to do an ETS2/Motorfest Style "Growing Map" , it's just if PGG can get the New FTech Engine to work Properly or not, as if FH6 has to be made on the old Forzatech M Engine again, it is still going to be held back to 1 Core Map per Game due to the Engine's Technical Constraints.

The Highly Requested Cars are the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse (in the Top 20 in the SHUB) and the 2021 Toyota GR Yaris (Number 4 in the SHUB) the Rest are Just Cars that the Car Companies have Demanded are put in the Game as part of the Licensing Deals for other, more Interesting, Cars from those Brands.
The EG6 is not even in the Top 20 on the SHUB, if you want PGG to even consider Suggesting it to Honda (and Honda can Refuse to License the Car, it is their Decision!) then get voting for it!
We want more Audi; RSQ8, RQS7 etc. where are they?? We need more Bmws as well where are all the modern SUVs? And not to forget about to Mercedes GLC GlS and so on! PLease give us more Cars like these in the next season!!! Many people would really enjoy having more modern cars beginning in 2020 or so. We are tired of Oldtimers and stuff like this!

Always prefer retro and non-performance cars, but for modern cars, these aren't bad.
PGG, Grow up, the Costumes are getting Ridiculous! Grow Up! Stop it! We do not want Shark Costumes! We want a Proper Story with Pre Rendered Cutscenes and some actual Soul and Effort! it can easily be done at a 3/E! FH2 proved that! now, Grow Up and start making Games for Car Enthusiasts again!

This update is so trash, it’s like your trying to not add any of the highly requested cars and instead you go out of your way to add the most irrelevant EVs in the world, it’s ridiculous. And what is that car pack 😭😭 HALF OF THE CAR PACK IS JUST DELOREAN. If you see this I suggest you make that FH6 trailer soon cuz no one likes this update. Credit is due when deserved and the dark horse and yaris are the only good things added, otherwise and silly update with ugly EVs😭🙏AND FURTHERMORE how are you gonna add modern cars and no MORE THAN 3 from the top 20 most requested 😭😭ARE YOU INTENTIONALLY NOT ADDING THE MC20😭
Stop complaining like a baby. They likely have the MC20 in development, adding cars into the game is quite the process. Have patience, it will come soon.
