Thank you so much for your videos, yesterday I followed your Pollen Filter replacement guide and today I did an oil change on my Corolla. Tomorrow I'm going to watch your video on the ignition coils and have a go at changing the spark plugs. As somebody with no mechanical experience, these videos have been invaluable. Thank you again, with lots of respect from Ireland!
Thanks man, i put in quality full synthetic oil and oil filter with 99% effiency for 40$... I was being charged 120$ at Maida's... And now i realize the 40$ oil change spots are using low quality stuff. Appreciate it.
I use the Fram Ultra in my 2005 Corolla and use it for 2 oil changes. I only put on 9,000 miles per year. It's a great filter and works for me. This is a good, basic, DIY video.
Would the products he used in this video still be ideal to do now in 2022? I have a Toyota Corolla S 2006. If anyone has product recommendations, please let me know!
Trying to buy a PCV valve and coolant temperature sensor for my American 2003 corolla built by United Motor Manufacturing INC in Fremont. Japan built uses MM. American built uses pipe thread. Where can I get the parts?
Synthetic oil can run anywhere from 7,500 miles to 15,000 miles depending on the conditions, he is changing it at 3,000 miles that's why it's still clean. Way to soon for Synthetic, IMO
@@TruckingDad unless you are running a conditioner in the oil. Once a year I will run ATF with my oil for a few hundred miles before a change. Also whenever I buy a new used vehicle I always change fluid, then change it again before I'm suppose to. Gives me intimate knowledge of the vehicle.
Hi thanks for watching, its different for every car. If you have a 2006 corolla refer to page 254 of the manual for this info. The dot closest to the tip and below means low add oil, the top dot closest to the handle means full, anything in between those two dots means OK. If you are over the dot closest to the handle you are too full.
Don't use Fram. Garbage... No need to change after only 3000 miles with synthetic especially. You change too often and mess it up with the crappy filter. Use a Wix XP and change after 10,000 miles.
🤣 oil change at 10,000 is wild. You should never wait that long to do an oil change. Get a borescope and compare a car that has had its oil change at 5k vs 10k you will find more tarnished components at the 10k.
Why are you commenting on a video if you don’t know what you’re talking about? The dealership will tell you 10k because they don’t want your vehicle to last forever. 5k mile oil changes is a lot cheaper then a new engine
Was being charged 100 for my old 2006 Corolla and thanks to this man I old spent 40. Hardest part was the filter that would not come off.

Thanks for the video. I have a Toyota corolla wagon 2003. This is my first car and I want to do the oil change myself. Big thank you from Hungary 🙂
I wasn't sure how much oil to put in after the oil change. Thank you for making this easy for me.😀
Don't worry too much about the amount of oil you add, you can just eyeball close to the entire 5 qt bottle into the engine

Why would I have to put oil into the filter before I screw it on?

If you are looking online, advance auto parts is a good place to start. Good luck.
What’s recommended, 4ltr or 5ltr of oil
Thanks for watching, it should tell you the exact amount in your owners manual
