Guys, please come to America. We need the 80's British Invasion here. People here are just now waking up to what these bands meant for that period of musical history. (although I've always known) It was such a great time in music. LOVE that Nik and Go West are playing together.
Just watched the 84tour at the floral pavillion theatre New Brighton, what an amazing show from start to finish Nike and the band fantastic thank you for a great night xx ❤️
I was at that show with a coupla friends and we all agreed it was a helluva great night! And to see Nik Kershaw and Go West sharing the stage for "King Of Wishful Thinking" was truly bloody awesome! I'll also never be able to hear "Don Quixote" without thinking of Nik's wife.
The first concert would have been so great. I wish I had something for go west to sign as they are more my style but I only had a tape for my wife for Nik whom signed it after the concert I didn’t have vip.
Thank you for the great footage. I’ve managed to get along to the show in Auckland so far plus Brisbane and Hobart. Sydney this weekend for the final show of the tour. Appreciate you filming all night ( your arms must have been so sore ☹️)

My wife was supposed to go to the concert too as she is a huge Nik fan so much so she ordered in The riddle cassette tape before it was released here in Australia, sadly due to her health she couldn't make it, then she was going to be on facetime but the manager of the Astor said if i did i would be booted no questions but i could video :) This way people that missed out and people that went have the memories for a lot longer :)
Love then both Go West and Nik Kershaw, I've seen them both this year, Go West in January in Birmingham and Nik last Friday 28th June in Oxford UK, both were fantastic gigs ❤❤
Thx for recording the whole thing! Wish Nik toured himself though - maybe even the acoustic set - would definitely go to watch JUST NIK. I'm wondering how many other Nik fans held back cos we only want to hear Nik. I'm not a Go West fan. Having said that, I don't recognise Nik's opener!
We didn’t also recognise the first song. We have put the 2 groups up separately on our alternate RUclips channel. So Nik fans get just Nik and Go west fans can have just Go west :)
Great video, although I'm sure you noticed how much better the sound was when you zoomed out! You can turn off zoom audio in settings. Worth doing for sure when filming a concert. Well done all the same though!

Yes i realized after i got home. its great for zooming in on cars etc as they drive away but not concerts
