Incredible band at this point, everyone is shot hot. ALAN MURPHY is a bona-fide guitar hero who sadly doesn't get the credit he deserves for his awesome style, feel, tone, and solo playing. R. I. P.
Alan was vastly underrated. His lead guitar chops put him the same league as Eddie and other masters of pyrotechnics from earlier eras. This band was TIGHT!
Jimmy's open hand style of drumming is so masterful, it just hurts to watch. It's a difficult style to master, as most drummers play with crossed hands, with the snare and high hats. This man had masterful hands, and it really showed in his drumming. Another wonderful musician who left us way too soon!
Great for his off-beat hi-hat lifts. Not only handwork, but his trademark bass triplets too, which he appears to play with a single pedal. I’d only just “discovered” him and then a couple of years later he was dead. Such a shame, but he leaves a legacy of performances like this.
One of the best live bands ever. Alan Murphy is one of my favourite guitarists ever, such sublime soloing. Just two years later he would be gone. He was brave and dignified. Google: Murphy's Breeze WMV for beautiful music.
This should be out on DVD, it's an amazing gig, featuring the legendary Alan Murphy on guitar. Great vocals from Peter, and the backing vocalists are terrific too. Go West Forever. RIP Alan Murphy.
I can remember getting ready to press play and record on the VHS video recorder on the Saturday afternoon. The late great Alan Murphy was in a great live band then joined another great live band.
Me too Fella re the Saturday Afternoon. I taped over the ending of Police Accademy.😄 If I remember rightly BBC 2 were showing Luther V In concert that week enall which was advertised by the Narrator once this gig was over??Level are Superb also 👌
Whoa. Great find..I was there. If I recall T4F were playing London same night... But I knew (I knew) my boys here would be the more joyous sing your heart out dammit, cheers Pete, event.
All you know talent Jokers today that use auto tune! Listen to how good this entire band is, us old timers call that pure talent! Today's artists don't have that that's why they use autotune!❤
Peter Cox is an extraordinary talent, watched him live last night, again, Nov 2023.

R.I.P. Jimmy Copley, drummer extraordinaire.

Lochrie's bass is freaking amazing. The band is just full of fantastic players.
One of the finest vocal performances I have ever seen. Absolute perfection!
This of course is great but I was referring to "The King Is Dead". ruclips.net/video/doLXAvx-oLk/видео.html
You have to check out the 'newish' live uploads- maybe from the last tour? Absolutely still on it. Terrific vocal maintenance. Attaboy.
Sublime chord changes, improvisations, musicianship and, of course, Peter Cox' vocals
My brother is a bass guitarist and he was well impressed too

Go West Forever.
RIP Alan Murphy.
It seems every note Alan Murphy played was just perfect.
You don't get this feeling with many guitar players, even the most famous ones.

Great 80s band in every aspect. Songs, vocals, musicianship, chords, lyrics and production. And all reproduced here live. Thanks for posting this.
A great vocal performance from peter cox .
Something tells me Peter had absolutely no idea how fcuking hot he was here; which makes him even HOTTER. He OWNED the 80s.
Brilliant
"Don't Look Down" killer song!. Alan Murphy kills the guitar!. I believe the song was included in a Miami Vice episode.
15:05 = Alan Murphy. Wow!
The Murphy solos are so smooth, so sweet. Great to see this, thanks for putting it up.
