    I like to hand trickle.
I enjoy the eye hand coordination thrill…
I even use a beam scale.
    These are pretty amazing tools.

Jesse. Good video. Thanks for sharing. I have a low-cost unit that works ok but is a bit of a pain changing powders so have gone back to a manual unit which is much easier to clean out, because I tend to make shorter runs of ~25 rounds per powder. Take care.

Tummy round really had some bad experience there. I think James Pollard had some troubles as well. I'll stick with my RCBS.

I would love to try the RCBS one as well.

I've had mine for over 2 years now and still not a hiccup. Hopefully, I never have to find out how good or bad Frankford Arsenals customer service is 🇺🇸💪🏼🤘🏼👍🏼

I probably would check it like I do every powder dropper I use when reloading.

Jess, great video. My next upgrade to reloading is going to be an electric power measure.
Question that little power scale from Amazon: Who is the manufacturer? I had one, but it was damaged, and I threw it out and could not remember who or what the name was. Please let me know so I can order one

The scale I have isn’t on amazon anymore. Don’t know if they might have it under another name. Thanks for watching.

in theory will make life way simpler but way too advanced for me lol

I mainly wanted it to make ladder test easier to load. It is a pain to empty not only this one but most electric powder droppers.

All that goodness aside, I still prefer a beam scale backed with a good digital scale. I use a scoop to get things close and then trickle up. Then I double check it on a digital scale. I found that if the two scales do not agree re-tearing the digital scale brings them both into agreement again. That is to say that the digital scale is the one drifting, and the beam scale is always right on. The only reason that I double check with a digital scale is as a check against the poses on the beam scale getting moved accidently without me noticing. So far as mentioned all discrepancies have been the digital scale drifting. Anyway, I can do all this just as fast or close enough to the time it takes for these power scale tricklers. And I always know that my loads are spot on every time.
And I do not seat bullets until the loading tray is all loaded with powder and double checked by eye with a flash light. then I move on to seating the bullets, so I gain nothing by having the scale load itself while I do another task.
Anyway if I am going to let a scale load my charges I might as well let the manufactures load seat and crimp the bullets too. Why let a person, much less a machine, cheat me out of the experience of loading my own ammo? Ain't gonna happen! For all I care they can keep their Intellidroppers of sorts, as well as their progressive presses.

Great thing about reloading is everyone can do it the way they want to. Thanks for watching.

I’ve worked at a lab 25 years ago and it might surprise you that nobody was using beam scales there. All digital , high precision scales that were running 24/7. I was able to get two of these scales for free since they were out of spec or had te be replaced . They are at a whole different level as the scale in this intellidropper, but having said that I have one of these small electronic handscales from Frankford that is surprisingly accurate actually.

“ I bet you can’t get it to work right using a different manufacturers instructions!!! I am not going to waist my time reading the Frankford Arsenal instructions because I already know how to use one of these !!! “
