The Lasso of Truth thing bugs me. The way it's supposed to work is that it makes you honest. It doesn't reveal the truth to you when you're wrapped up in it. If that's how it worked, they could just have Wonder Woman tie them up and ask them, "How do we defeat Darkseid" or whatever, and have Bruce Wayne reply, "Oh, the way to defeat him is to use this secret Macguffin I've never heard of before, but let me draw you a map to its location..."
Tying up Bruce Wayne and having him spit out some commie bullshit implies that he actually believes it. It implies that Batman only exists because Bruce Wayne is too greedy to give up his billions, and that he gets his kicks out of beating the shit out of poor impoverished, sympathetic people for fun. One line for lefty Hollywood brownie points completely dismantles Batman's entire character, and I hate it.
Yeah, that's a great point. All it did was reveal that deep down Batman just enjoys beating up impoverished people who have no other choice but to be criminals because it's fun. If Bruce lived his truth when the lasso wasn't on him he would donate all his money to every poor person in Gotham and crime would disappear instantly.
The world Tim Burton made for those Batman movies is basically it's own character. An absurd missed opportunity not to incorporate anything from it into this (besides Wayne Manor). Actually pisses me off haha

Can’t wait for the Indiana Jones 5 review! I hope that Phoebe chick never works again for poisoning the franchise. This 5th installment should finally end KK’s career for good too! If not this lady’s got some serious blackmail on people. Love the Back to the Future Poster in the back, great set up!

Haha, we actually went from a mediocre set to audio only to a professional set. Bankrolled it ourselves. We both do this for a living.
One more thing I think you forgot to mention, was after everything Barry learned, he went back and changed the past AGAIN. He learned NOTHING. Right after everything he went back and put the soup on the top shelf to free his dad. Terrible. Btw, I agree, the trailors put way too much Keaton in. And congratulations on breaking 100k subs!
Yeah it was stupid. He could have also gone back in time to that exact moment his mom was killed to see… WHO DID IT. Didn’t cross his mind though.

I would remind you the movie was rewritten about 20 times, and 10 directors as well. I am really gonna be watching closely how Gunn handles "The Authority" and "Superman Legacy". I believe he is going to be taking from "All Star Superman" and using Manchester Black. Going to be HEAVY POLITICAL MESSAGING. The question is which way is he gonna go.

every superhero franchise is trying to do multiverse stuff. Spiderverse is the only one that has hit the nail on the head. DC is trying to grift off that hype and it’s sad.

We all impatiently await the inclusion of Ezra in the MCU.
He'll play a variant of every character from the Avengers and Guardians as well as all the villains all in one film. May as well thrown him in a Phoebe Waller Bridge wig for the laughs.

I was so ready to love this movie and then I saw it. I hate, hate, hated it from the saving babies scene onwards. Just too awful to spend any more of my thoughts on. Yuck.
Dope set! Can't seem to want to watch Ezra at all... absolute no want to watch this. Which sucks cause I grew up with Keaton batman. Would love to see him but Miller just kills it completely for me
Not seeing it is a very wise decision. Even if you catch it on streaming, no speedforce can ever give you back the time you wasted.

I don't know if this is the worst superhero movie in a long time, but I do know that it's the most annoying.

The studio looks great!!! Well done boys. The Flash DC comic books has been around since the 40’s, I grew up with it in the 60’s he was to me the coolest of the DC super hero’s. A shame on Warner Brothers 100 anniversary that they come up with this shite’ grandfathers saying.

Also I personally loved Supergirl in the movie which i reallt diddnt expect to. Thought she was one of the film's (few) positives. I hope they use Sasha Calle again and keep her as well written as she was in this.

It definitely had its moments. Just not enough to get us over the finish line.
You should try a rug under where you both sit to anchor yourselves better in the space.
We’re actually replacing the carpet down the line with a hard floor so we’ll most likely put something under our chairs once that’s in and we can see how it looks on camera. The floor will end up being darker than it is now.
