Every time the plot needed a new piece of tech, someone just happened to have built it and the entire family knows how to use everything. So dumb. Everyone knows how to fly the beetle plane
The shot of the mom flying the beetle ship away at the end was next level stupid.
You were very much watching a Tom Holland iron man jr. imitation. I did like the ending though. Where he goes full heel and starts going off on the olmech. Also where my girl Susan Sarandon gets dragged into the fire was better than Ned interrupting a conversation between Tom, Andrew, and Tobey, to say “ peter here’s your web cartridges “

Hang on. The sting for the big Act 3 fight uses Motley Crew, for what's supposed to be all about a Latino superhero and his family kicking ass? ..... Did Warner Bros just not give Carlos Santana a call????

They don't even need to be completely serious. Just balance out the goofy with the serious and you'll have a decent film.

Congrats on 2k subs. 400 views in 4 days though when it's a long form review of a new movie with great quality. Lol. I wonder if you uploaded this exact video to a brand new channel if you could get better results.
It’s quite frustrating considering the fact that when we had less than 100 subs all our long form videos were pulling over 1,000 views on release. It definitely feels artificial.

I heard somewhere described that the target audience for this movie isn't general Latin audiences, or even Hispanic audiences. This movie is very specifically targeted to Americanized Hispanic teens who live in Southern California who have family who crossed the border illegally, and who buy into the woke SoCal politics.
It explains why Warner really flipped out about that hurricane.
Sounds about right. All it was missing was some LatinX in there and it would have been complete.
Educated legal immigrants from Latin America and the Caribbean certainly can't identify with those illegal Mexican working-class immigrants as presented in the movie and they likely don't think it's a good Latino representation. Gina Torres from Suits is a Latina. So is Tatyana Ali. Christina Milan, Alexis Bledel from Gilmore Girls, the lead actress in The Queen's Gambit. And so many others in the US not just actors and actresses.
Shabang & Dung Beetle trying to replicate Phase 1 Marvel movies.
They needed to pull out all the stops for this entry and it's the most generic thing I've ever seen.
