I was wondering why with 2021 E 53 AMG coupe the rear camera cover opens up when I turn the car on ! also I was wondering if you know augmented reality can be installed separately as an option at the dealership if I didn't get it from factory . Thanks - Adam
It could open for a few different reasons. Do you park really close to a wall or object? When you put the vehicle into gear and are close to an object, the 360 camera will appear. Of course when you go into reverse the camera cover will open. I will need more detail on the exact conditions your vehicle is placed in when this occurs. As far as I know the Augmented Video for Navigation cannot be installed after the manufacturing process. Thanks for commenting!
Worst invention ever. EDIT: 2 years later and many km later i have to edit this, that was not the worst, the touchscreens are the worst. On the old Mercs you could feel the buttons and not take the eyes off the road. Now you have to look at the f... screen to change something and the touch buttons don't always register the correct klick, or you change settings when you turn the steering wheel.

@@refuztosay9454 You can, just double klick the lock button on the remote, that also prevents thieves from stealing your car.
