    Awesome. It looks like a Razor762 with an extention and Hub compatibility. Im at 162 days on my Razor762 and Alaskan360 but i might need to add one of these too.

    • @Ruggedsuppressors
      @Ruggedsuppressors  7 месяцев назад +2

      Yes, it's essentially the Razor762 length in the short and the Surge762 length in the long configuration with HUB compatibility. However it's lighter, quieter and has less blowback.

    Id suggest offering it without the RUM for people who already have other mounts, but other than that I like it.
    Unfortunately I already started transferring a Lahar, fortunately I have more than one gun that needs a semi-permanent muzzle muffler.

    I currently own an Obsidian45 to cover all my handguns, an Oculus on the way to cover my rimfire needs, and all I'm left with are rifles. Is the SurgeX the one? To be quite honest, I'm considering the Omega 300 but I also feel a sense of loyalty to Rugged as I've heard nothing but great things and my experience so far has been great. I admittedly haven't done that much into rifle cans yet.

  • @jbpooh
    @jbpooh 7 месяцев назад +1

    With a 1/2 x 28 adapter can the suppressor be used on a rimfire?

    • @Ruggedsuppressors
      @Ruggedsuppressors  7 месяцев назад +1

      No, rimfire rounds have too much carbon buildup for rifle suppressors.

    DAMMIT!! I have an Alaskan 360 and LOVE that can!! Now this one is going on the list as well. So gotta ask...what are the odds you'll make a vented front cap for 5.56 to further reduce blow back? Asking for a friend. :-) Cheers and keep up the great work!

    • @TheGreatDaneR
      @TheGreatDaneR 7 месяцев назад

      A vented front cap would likely not be applicable to this design, unfortunately.

    • @robertwilson22
      @robertwilson22 7 месяцев назад

      I have one on my CGS Helios and it makes a HUGE difference on gas back in my face while not compromising too much on signature reduction. But I'm definitely not an engineer or expert@@TheGreatDaneR

    So I'm assuming the quieter part refers to the full length, and the lighter part is to the shorter configuration? How does the k config stand up to the razor762? I love the hub mount, as i currently have razor556 and dead air sandman in jail. I was looking at the aero lahar 30. It's truly a god send being able to consolidate all my rifles to only 2 mounting options.

    • @Ruggedsuppressors
      @Ruggedsuppressors  7 месяцев назад

      That's correct, the full length is for maximum suppression. The short configuration is similar to the Razor762, but slightly lighter with less gas blowback plus the universal mount.

  • @medicman9053
