Great makes. You might like the Granville Shirt by Sewaholic Patterns. It's the first shirt I've done. Fortunately I had help. And, learned there is a right and left sleeve. Who knew.
I've got it somewhere, but it's not in the packet!!! I suspect it's been accidentally put in with something else, hopefully it'll come to light at some point 😀

Very dangerous watching your channel. Your outfit is gorgeous and put ideas in my head (I have similar colouring to you), the shirting fabric was out of stock so I went on Minerva and ended up buying 2 lots of shirting and some jersey fell into my basket too!

It's good to know when to step away from the machine and give your brain a rest. You will come up with a good solution. Love your colors in that lovely shirt/pants combo.

I love the sidewinders. I've made 2 pairs and cut 4 more for going back to the office.... They're so stylish but still comfy and easy to wear

Oh by the way, for my 50th birthday in September, one of my daughters bought me some of the amazing striped fabric that you made your Valli dress out of! I am planning on making a Rhapsody dress from Love Notions. I want a dress that I will wear often out of fabric that I love. It is warm/ boiling hot where I live 9 months of the year.

Casual but smart you could maybe even wear a short vest over the blouse with shirt tails hanging below

Good idea to go up a size for the coat it's supposed to be oversized and drapey
I have been sewing coats lol
Finshing up with the last
I have been on a roll
I've made 2 shackets using a quik sew pattern from the 80s
One mustard and black plaid and one red and green plaid
And 2 coats in butterick 6394 one in mustard and grey white plaid
one in black and white buffalo wool plaid view B with hoods and toggle closures both lined
Then butterick 6107
View D in a pink wool with one large decorative button
And view B in a light to grey mix grey boiled wool
They've all been lined and look great
All in various lengths so myself daughter ,she claimed 2 the mustard plaid grey with hood and the shacket in red and green lol
So we are set
They are all loose fitting and casual easy won't need to make coats for a while
Coating was on sale at 50 percent off and its been really great sewing them
Can't wait to see how yours turns out
Now I am getting ready to get on to McCall's 8802 , 7993 and 7816
Knit dress tunics that go with tights or leggings cozy in fleece or french Terry will be a more relaxing sewing lol

Wow, you really have been on a roll!!! I'm feeling positively lazy 😄. Great investment though, as you say you won't need a new coat for a while 😘❤
Interesting that you had that problem with the lining. A while back I did the exact same thing, although with a different, similar pattern. I repaired it with lining fabric which I attached with a French seam and voila all good.
Great tip! I've just looked and I don't have enough lining fabric!! I've had to order some more 🙁

Thanks for the Traveller coat tip! I cut my wearable toile 2 sizes up without mods, because #boobs and I like the oversized look. I thought I would pinch out the waist slightly if needed before the final version,,
Probably won’t even need that.

Love your outfit in this video! I love to sew shirts, too, and I did just finish one for #sewshirty21, but it had been a while. Finding nice shirting fabrics can be a challenge. Can I ask, what's your preferred interfacing for shirts? Thanks, love your videos!
Thank you! 😊 I didn't want this one to be too formal, so used a lightweight knit interfacing, sometimes I just use light cotton and sew it in depending on what I'm going for ❤
