- Welcome to a vault vlog series, I began redecorating my Brooklyn, New York studio apartment in November and my brain has finally decided to allow me to edit the videos.
Bless your heart! You have a lot of STUFF! To minimize visual clutter, you may want to eventually get baskets for the top of your kitchen cabinets to put those items on their sides inside. Removing all the stuff on your fridge will also reduce the visual overload in your kitchen. A white bookcase with solid doors can hide a lot of disparate items as well. IKEA’s Billy bookcase has doors you can purchase separately. Do you ever sit at the breakfast bar? If not, and it’s unused space, you could screw shelf brackets into the space and put shelves there for baskets for storage or for your books.
yeah, it looks so much worse because I have minimal space, so in order to have room I have to move 2-3 other things out of the way and then it looks so chaotic because its piled.

Beautiful Mantel. Get cord cover, and if you have wall color paint, you can paint over
it. If you paint your dresser black, it will look more pulled together. You can add peel and stick wallpaper to the inside of the mantel on the wall for more pizzaz, as well as the sides of the dresser drawers and inside the drawers.
I really want to find a fun peel and stick for behind the fireplace, but I haven't found the perfect one yet. I have about 50 saved on Etsy though lol

Honestly! I feel Like I have a reasonable amount of stuff but in such a small space if everything doesn’t have a specific spot it falls apart so quickly lol

Hello! New subscriber here! What is the square footage of your apartment. Mine is 450 sq ft. Your new rug is very pretty. Beautiful mantel, looks like something that would be in an older NYC apartment! 😊 I think the chair would look cute in the corner by the window 😊
that's was my exact thought with the mantle! I love the old New York apartment vibe. I'm pretty sure my total sq foot is 400, but it might be 450. ill have to try and find the old listening and check or just measure lol

The brand is creative co-op, several places carry it but when I ordered it wayfair was having a huge sale so it was like 300 dollars cheaper. Home depot also carries it and they were usually the next cheapest option.
I literally was tracking the price for months lol
