Thank you for your videos. I have surgery scheduled for Monday March 8th and it was hard to find videos of men talking about bariatric surgery experiences. Much appreciated. And I know I have a long road ahead and have even thought about making my own channel to talk about my journey. Thank you.

Thanks for update. I was one of new subscribers. Had DS done 12/8/20 and down to 333 from 455. Your videos were part of reason I chose DS over sleeve. glad your doing well.

    Congrats on your progress!!
I will be getting surgery soon and would like a guy’s perspective on dating. When should you tell a guy you had surgery? How should I order food? Say it’s a first date. Should I order a plate and just leave most of the food?
    Help!!!

If you want to hide the surgery at first I would order an app or a small salad with protein. Tell them you had a late meal and aren't as hungry as you normally are.
With that being said, eventually they will find out. Whether it be through dating over time due to observing your eating habits or when you get intimate.
My main suggestion is do not lie if confronted. Also, don't date until you feel your weight loss is at a point where you will be content on the type of guy you will attract.
If you plan on skin surgeries or anything else after the fact I would causally date until that is completely done.

Delayed side effects are normal up to 6 to 8 weeks after vaccination.

I was wondering how u were doing. Nice to get an update. I had DS surgery last sept. To be honest I was on the fence about the type of surgery I wanted to get until I saw your video. I have lost almost 90 lb in 5 and 1/2 months. Similar to you, I was also pretty thick but not flabby thick just kind of tight and big so thus far I haven't had any issues with skin hanging or anything like that. I feel great and I'm so glad that I followed your example. Your videos were really informative and helped me to make the right decision.

I just came across your video as I am researching this surgery for myself! thanks for your updates, and you probably have answered this in another video, but if I may ask... what was the pain like after surgery? I am allergic to morphine, and I have a high tolerance for pain, but I have NEVER had a major surgery. My fear is the pain from surgery. and what pain medication were you prescribed if any.

I don't remember the exact meds, but they take your allergies into account. It wasn't so much the pain after that was the problem, it was the nausea.

Curious... U have mentioned in the past that you travel for work and in this video you mentioned that you're in the medical field. What exactly do you do? For some crazy reason I had assumed that you worked in theater and traveled with the stages or a theater company LOL my assumptions couldn't be more wrong. That's so funny. You look great I love your dimples as usual but most importantly you look really healthy. Take care
