'Secure Boot Configurations' isn't an option for me on the security tab either before or after setting a supervisor password, so I can't recreate these steps. Any help 6 years later appreciated :)
It works, thank you. Enabling CSM seems to be the key. Don't know what the supervisor passwort entering and deleting is good for. I didn't need it. Have been to early, doesn't work. I give up.
HewowJow it dould be that your dvd player is stocked to uefi ...try to connect a usb dvd player and see whats happen this way it worked out for me i installed win7 32 bit on my fujitsu ah502

The BIOS you show is almost exactly the same as mine so for example I cannot see booting UEFI/Legacy switch among other things. I am going to see if your fix can help me boot from a live CD (Linux)

Saved my day and saved me from buying another computer which does allow booting from another device besides the HD. So, how did you discover this?
this did NOT work for me..can you tell me how to boot it from hard drive, NOT from usb...because use works.. and i DONT want to reinstall windows..i want the original OS within hard drive to work...but for some reason i keep getting bootable device missing error ..can you tell me how to fix it..???????.. thank you
Thank you. Could only boot via the optical not usb. What a rubbish bios. At least I can boot of my forced win 10 pro installation media to bypass the home edition of windows 10.

Thanks! Very helpful. CSM was grayed out for me, so I thought it just wasn't available. Disabling Secure Boot did the trick :)
