И нет, я понимаю, для Сани музыка, это уже не давно не только любимое дело, но и заработок. Конечно, рвать контракт не стоило. Alex and the boys got some heavy ass balls. For those who still don't know: this song can cause some big trouble for them in Russia, but unlike a bunch of artists who are just saying "war bad blah blah", they call things out for what they are. This deserves a massive respect in my books.

"War is bad (Ukraine should give up)" is a stance taken by many pro-putin artists. what takes balls is to directly call Russia an aggressor and wishing for russian army to lose. But what I'm trying to lay down here is, that this clearly isn't intended as just a general message, it's meant as an answer to the war in Ukraine, hence their previous announcements, the timing of the release and some of the lyrics. I’m a 40 year old guy, I really thought the metal I grew up with was all I wanted to listen to…..then I heard Slaughter to Prevail and realized I have a new favorite!!! Alex is the fucking man!!!!
Dude. I've only gotten into this type of hard stuff myself. I am an avid fan of stuff like Wednesday 13, Slipknot, Mudvayne, and Soulfly. I saw Alex Hefner do a reaction to Demolisher, and was blown the hell away, big fan of this band and their messages.

Same though I flirted with this stuff in the late 2000s when I got into Job for a Cowboy and Veil of Maya. Thought Veil of Maya was a progressive death metal band since their name is a song from Cynic. Didn't know it was a new style developing. I pretty much called anything with growling vocals back then death metal. Heck Suffocation is now being called the founders of deathcore. Back in the 90s we just called it brutal death metal.
good ears finds new talent. And Behemoth just came out with a new album. Been following their journy since Demigod came out in 2004.

There’s so many people still who will say metal is devils music. How on earth can you say that when there are so many bands promoting the stop of violence, suicide, and encouraging nations to come together and cast away their disagreements. Yet the music that gets promoted and thrown in our faces is just the exact opposite, forcing depression and acceptance of so many negative things this world has to offer.

First listen, without lyrics in front of me, I said to myself STP has some BIG coconuts for releasing this song. Alex has been vocal against the war and I believe has moved to the US. Not sure about the rest of the band but then I read the lyrics and coconuts is an understatement. More like balls the size of Jupiter. Alex is a monster but the other members of the band are just as talented and sure had their say as well The song slaps, the meaning of it and the look on Alex face...the venom the rest of the boys are playing with ....this is one of those songs that will be played forever. Incredible track.

just want you to give an understanding how sanctions are supposed to work: the West doesn't have to stop buying critical amount of oil and gas, just has to buy as little as possible to not hurt themselves more, instead the sanctions are pointed on exports into russia and selling technologies to russia so it wouldn't be able to build weapons and modernize their economy the same as it was with soviets after they started invasion of afganistan in 79
just buy natural resources as little and as cheap as possible but don't sell any technologies
that's perspective like for the next 2-3-10 years for russia, going down the rabit hole as deep as it's even possible until russians start to realize what they been doing
