Thanks Katelyn!! That's true, a lot of planning went into this before the Mr. started building it. A lot of our clothes are now folded into those drawers, so that little folding table helps a lot!

Sophie Muwanga N Thanks so much for your kind reply! You can read about my design inspiration on my blog. I should have the link in this video's description. As for the cost, we used maple and that's about CAD$60 4x8'. The wood is the cheap part of this project. The drawer tracks are about CAD$25 a pair. Then there're the knobs and pulls, those just depend on your choices. Hope this helps 😊

Hi Almetra, the chandelier was from Joss and Main. I bought it for only $152, but only the bottom dangling ball is crystal, the rest are all plastic. It sure fools the eyes!

Wow, really nice :)! One of the best I've seen. My DIY skills needs much training for this but one day, ONE DAY I will get there, hopefully sooner than later. I'm in the process of ramping up my tools collections so that a start if anything :)

Christine the closet space was originally 13 ft x 7 ft. The unit itself is 2ft deep, so the remaining space where the chair is is around 9x5. Hope that helps.
How long does it take to make the closets?
For a real contractor, it should take less than a month. But the Mr. would work on it after dinner and he also went on a hiatus from it 😂, so it took months to complete. Check out my linked blog in the description to check the dates. Maggy Lukmanjaya

Do you have plans or measurements for all this?
Our plans and measurements are custom to this space, so I didn't bother stating the plans and measurements on the blog. Sorry!
did it cost a lot
It's a whole lot less than having a cabinetry company custom build it for us. We used maple wood so that the frames will be sturdy and soft-closing cabinet hardwares, which added up. If you don't use the soft-closing it'll be cheaper. Hope that helps.

Hi what paint did you use to paint with???
We used the cabinet paint by Benjamin Moore. I believe it's called the Advance line. We used a glossy finish for this closet.
