I felt so bad when I saw the sweeper bot was still sweeping when the entire tower was falling apart. True hero 👌
Sweeper Bot is the best!
I almost fell apart then I noticed all the dead cabal around... Sweeper bot don't play
Super slick trick with the bowl shaping. I'm totally filing that one away for later use!
I'm thinking of getting metal legs...it's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.
I so admire people who can draw patterns like this. I can do patterns but it has to be with software; for some reason I can do precise work on the computer but I can't freehand draw if my life depended on it.
Great now I want to make a robot costume Britt. Looking good.
Thanks Ted! You have your awesome Borg costume, that totally counts! :)
I love this build so much!
Thanks!
ZONZONZONBI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With the destiny 2 BETA coming to an end i'd love to see you guys turn the exotic handcannon sunshot into a prop. You guys are my favourite prop makers and i'd love to see how you make it.
I'm sure we'll be making props from Destiny 2 :D
Punished Props I can't wait thanks so much for responding so fast :)! Appreciate it
Really looking forward to seeing this costume come together! Looking awesome Britt.
Looking really good so far. Really can't wait for the finished product.
Thanks! Me too! :)
I have that very same Oregon Trail Temporal Anomaly shirt from Woot! Great videos and taste in goofy T-shirts! ;)
Oh, and thanks again to both of you for signing Foamsmith 1 & 2. You two rock in so many ways!
Clearly you have fantastic taste in fashion! =D
Cool video. We have been looking into doing some foam pieces in the near future as well. That cnc laser cutter seems like a real trick for precise cuts.
It is a luxury, to be sure, but it is mighty handy!
Fantastic video series, loads of great tips. Looking good, can't wait to see the final result.
I like how you use your body to your advantage. Great silhouette.
How awesome I'm making lucio hippity hop. And making robot legs love how this comes up at the same time 🤗
This looks so incredibly cool! Well done!
I love how Brittany has become so much more comfortable in front of the camera. If you don't know what i mean, watch some of her first videos
It's nice that you don't mind it being a bit out of scale. It's smarter for one thing, also there's no way you could do sweeper to scale unless you're an amputee.
You are a Foam Genie 😱😍
Holy crap that was impressive! o.0
Great job Brittany, keep it up!
Thank you!
"Half math and half brute force"
An honest maker, Brit is ;)
You are so incredibly talented!
Why thank you!
i actually had an idea for a airsoft armor idea and this helped a lot. thanks
The Godess of foam strikes again!
Thanks so much for the videos. Currently working in my Titan >
this is coming out SO cool!
Fantastic build!
Great video. Thanks Britt!
Thanks so much! =D
Impressive, most impressive!
Brilliant work
great work your work is very inspiring...
You should do a quick pipboy 3000 out of foam from fallout 3 and new Vegas
Great job
Thanks for watching!
looking great!!!
Is it possible to have them to be built by you guys if the person pays alot for it?
I really need help making a halloween costume, and i'm aiming for a robot like design, I only have so much time before halloween is here. :C Genesis Rotary Tool isn't buyable anymore on amazon.
Brittany ... Wow ... just WOW!
love this channel!! you started me onto building armor. so great. I was wondering if you were planning a Master chief build? I've always wanted to build his suit
Thanks! Sorry we aren't planning any Halo builds right now. Check out www.405th.com for more halo costuming.
Punished Props awesome! thanks for the help
Are you sharing your patterns? I want to change it up some for my purpose but it would be great to have your patterns as a starting base.
I really enjoy your videos and your attitude, you make watching you very easy. Thanks
I don't think we'll be salvaging the paper patterns.
You really should ;-P I am wanting to make a mascot suit for my High School Robotics team and I am not nearly as talented as you.
Question: If I have a full cosplay to make and I, say, make finish a full on prop, could I paint it first and then work on everything else, or is it better to just paint it all at once?
That's all up to personal preference.
Is there a template to follow?
Can you please prepare a video about a cheap diy laser cutter that can cut eva foam? Thanks :)
And also could you tell me what is the mininum power for a laser cutter to be able to cut eva foam in multiple tours like you do?
I don't have any experience with DIY laser cutters. I can say that our laser is a 45w machine and it can cut foam at about 10% output.
Do you have any tips for making a foam mech suit cheap, and original (as in, not based on a specific character) ?
hahaha its so funny how you and bill have the exact same mannerisms, its like watching the same cut scenes with the different sex characters
so are parts of the body suit going to be painted black or something to make it look like empty space?
That's the plan, we'll see how it goes!
Coming along great... have you been playing any D2 Beta?! 🤓👍
Yes! We got to check out the beta last week and it was super fun!
Aaaaaahhhhh!!! Yay! Is Bill going to do another Destiny cosplay?
Bill isn't planning one currently.
Awe well yours will be very awesome and exciting to see :-)
Is there any way you can put the subtitles in Portuguese later?
Just curious what last cutter do you use? What brand or brand and models would you suggest for someone doing props as a newer maker?
It's the Full Spectrum 5th Gen Hobby Laser. It's been pretty great!
I might use this method if I ever decide to do Darth Maul with cyborg legs
Where do you get your EVA foam from? I got those jigsaw pieces a while back for my art exam but the textured side is such a devil to sand down when you just got a tiny bit and a orbital sander to sand an entire helmet down. Is it shipped worldwide as well, cause I'm stuck in UK?
Neverrmind, forgot description like an idiot, sorry!
Ha! There's great stuff state side, but check out these guys in the UK: www.poly-props.com
I have watched a lot of y'alls videos . You both do amazing jobs on your costumes and props . I would love to send y'all some pictures of my optimus prime I am working on and get some input much thanks
Glad you like our videos! Best place to contact us with pics is on twitter: @chinbeard and @ladylongshanks
thanks, i was looking for some legs for my littles yikes killing coup costume
You guys should try out replicating the masks of the heisters from Payday 2. Would be really cool 👌
Why you used EVA foam instead foamed PCV ?
probably because its cheaper and lighter
Correct! Light and flexible.
Thanks for answer :D I must try use EVA foam :)
what muscle is the prop muscle?
The muscles you use for sanding.
Hey, PP! How about creating expandable or flashbang shield from Rainbow Six Siege after this project?
U r awesome!
Where did you get the black suit?
You can find "zentai suits" or "morph suits" at costume stores and online.
Would have been nice if yo had provided an alternative method for those few who do not own a laser cutter.
You can cut out circles in foam using a sharp knife and lots of practice. You can cut them out a little outside the lines and use a sanding drum on your rotary tool to clean up the cuts.
Sorry, I do not speak English. Can you say how the buttons are called which elements are attached to clothes?
We like to use size 10 "sew-on snaps", also called "press buttons". www.punishedprops.com/item/snaps
Thank you!)
Size 10 is what diameter in the metric system?)
20 mm (2cm), they are bigger than usual
Could you make a red hood helmet tutorial ?
Sorry we aren't planning on doing that particular build.
whats a good laser cutter for eva foam?
All of the tools I used are listed right here. punishedprops.com/bills-tools/ Happy shopping!
is it possible to do the Arkham Knight?
You could totally use these techniques to make an Arkham Knight costume.
cool
Wait....she had a laser cutter this whole time!!
👍👍👍... woooow...yes Good... thanks...👍🙏👍
Thanks so much for watching!
can you make a duel disk from yugi oh
At least you didn't skip leg day
The calves could use some more bulk :D
Do you guys have that twitch prime thing I can suscribe too? Since I have a free sub monthly thing I know it helps out.
Wow, U looks good with that suit :o *WANNA MAKE IT!*
Pls make digitagrade legs!
After watching the video game trailer for Anthem, we may just have to!
Punished Props :)
just realized you'll be cosplaying as a talking roomba
Roomba of the future!
The Pinnacle of Janitorial Technology!!
Lemme just get my handy dandy *laser cutter*
