Perfect timing ahh! I was panicking about making my Wonder Woman boots so this is so helpful! 😂 You guys ruuuuule.
didn't expect to find Rachel here!
Workout regimen for Broombot cosplay:
Do not use entire lower body for six uninterrupted weeks. Do not worry about the severe muscular atrophy, as you will be using the broom to support your weight for the duration of the convention.
YES! The broom-bot! I can't wait to see this at Blizz Con.
Not sure if Sweepy is coming to BlizzCon, but it would be appropriate since the Blizzard launcher will have the PC version of Destiny 2 :)
This is super helpful, great to see how you break down your costumes. Good luck with the rest can't wait to see it finished.
That's awesome. And really good advice when you said to just focus on one part of a costume until it's wearable then move to the next.
It helps a lot with feeling like progress is happening!
oh my goodness this is a lifesaver, i actually have ideas for my HEV suit shoes now thank youuu 😭
Super Job! I'm not a prop builder but I absolutely enjoy watching you and Bill create your masterpieces! Love it!
I have watched this series for at least ten times. I love destiny and I LOVE THIS COSPLAY!!
You're a genius! I love it! Thanks for giving me the hope to make my cosplay... I was so intimated by the complexity. You're my hero
omg, I needed this tutorial so bad for a cosplay I'm making. Great job!
this was really informative and helpful, i can't wait to see the rest of the build!!
I really love the details in your work!
Yes, Sweeperbot! I hope someone at dragoncon does a cabal so you can pose with them dead on the floor.
Haha, yes!
Just pulled a life cast I made of myself over the weekend for practicing props and makeup stuff. Many thanks for all the wonderful tutorials!
That's awesome!
Omfg Sweeperbottttt this made my whole day!!! If I don't run into you while you wear this I'll cry forever!! I love this so much!!!
The feet came out really cool. I'm definitely going to be bookmarking this video for reference on a future build.
All I can say is wow. I look forward to the rest of the build.
Sewing webbing onto velcro so that it glues down better, now that is a FANTASTIC tip! Thank you!
You're welcome, Kazplay!
These turned out so cool!
Beautiful Work , You and Bill Rock !
+franco goss Thanks Franco!
Excellent :) look forward to seeing the rest and voice modulation!
So awesome! Im amazed the sweeper bot is not a common cosplay, they are so fun to see around!
It's so true!
i love how you do these robot builds!
Wow, great fabrication. Impressive stuff.
getting hype already got the foam broom build!
So much hype!
That's so good! Can't wait to see more
I am wanting to make a mascot for my robotics team, you do fantastic work, please continue to share. I live in a very small, poor community and without something like this we could make nothing better than a cardboard box robot mascot, PLEASE CONTINUE THIS PROJECT ON RUclips!!! PLEASE
Thank you for these videos I'm learning so much from them, looking forward to seeing more progress!
+Alex Whiskers You're welcome!
Amazing crafting skills, Britt!
Thanks!
Wow! Well done.
Those shoes are brilliant 😊
Great idea for the shoes.
this video is good motivation to keep building my own robot costume... sometimes it becomes a chore to finish things, ha.
Glad we could help :)
Woo! Going to DragonCon for the first time this year! Hopefully get to run into you both.
Thanks for the advice about building one part of the costume until completion. I've been working on a Zenyatta costume for a while now and I've completely scraped it twice because I've cut all the parts at once and messed up the sizing. Going to give it another try, but probably won't be ready in time for September.
Great video Britt!!!! Will be super helpful for this year's robot build of mine :)
Thanks!
Nice build!
These are beautiful
Thanks for sharing this video tutorial.
so weird that your tutorial was easier to follow than 90 percent of those I've found on the internet
These look amazing! I debuted my Cayde-6 cosplay over the weekend at a convention. The armor over the shoes didn't stick because I didn't cut marks into it like you showed in the video! I'll definitely use that from now on
Awesome! I'd love to follow Cayde around as Sweepy :)
Looking cool!
This looks amazing, stellar tips!
this looks awesome!!
No heel flap?... Anywho, another rad vid and build. Hopefully, I'll see you guys at Dragon Con which is in my home city, can't believe how big it's gotten over the years.
@Punished Props Simply Amazing!!!!
Great build!!!
I love it!!! yes, this is such a nice idea!
I hope I'm this good with Eva foam at some point
Lots of practice and a sharp knife do wonders. We're all still learning, though!
thanks so much!
This is fantastic!! well made
Thanks!
BRILLIANT TUTORIAL.. LOVE YOU GUYS FROM CAPE TOWN SOUTH AFRICA !!!!!!
Thank you!
omg!!! amazing work!!!!!
Muito bacana e bem explicativo...gosto muito dos tutoriais, parabéns 👏👏👏👏
Amazing Video !!!
This is very helpful, thanks!
You're welcome!
great job! looking forward to seeing how you do his more delicate robot hands! (so many people do really bulky robot hands in cosplay builds.)
The fingers may be just painted on body suit gloves. We'll see how it goes!
great video, feet can be tough, the design is awesome and can be used for any robot or armor character😀
So true, I hope this build helps other types of costumes.
thid is so amazing and inspiring. thank you for sharing
The Godess of foam, strikes again! :-D
Nice build
Your strapping tutorials helped me so much when I did my Agent Venom cosplay! I'm glad that you went so in depth with this one, it'll help tremendously with strapping in the future. Speaking of which, where do you submit pictures of fan cosplay?
So Cool!
yessssss lol can't wait for the next video! Brittany you are my secret cyber best friend lol. you make some of the coolest cosplay!
Nice video, Britt! Hope to run into you at DragonCon!
See you there!
Your building this while I'm trying to get my foam to stick together lol
Haha I have to show my dad this! He works for Bungie so he would love to show his friends this
That's fantastic! =D
Sweet!
awesome!!!!!
Thank you for making this video, it helps to figure it out how to make Ida's (from Boku no hero academia) hero costume shoes
That's great, you're welcome!
Holy guac using the nylon is a great idea!
It's so handy!
yes!I love destiny builds! keep up he good work
Thanks! I can't imagine what our build schedule will look like after Destiny 2 releases, haha.
Punished Props lol yeah! I can't wait for that
Nice!
amazing.
Another great video, Brittany! What are you going to use to seal, paint and protect? I'm making some boot covers out of foam but they are going to end up being one continuous piece so I'm afraid the paint will wrinkle or crack. I'm thinking of using Angelus leather paint but what do I use to seal the foam and then seal the paint?
Is it crazy that I want those for everyday wear? LOL. I love me a good pair of futuristic shoes, Nike Mag and the like.
We need more space shoes :)
you make it look so easy ahah
pretty cool
Cool Great job
Thank you!
I think sweeper bot is the hardest working bot in the game. Two games and a destroyed city and she's still dedicated to her work...and she doesn't even get payed for it.
Thanks I am looking to do foam builds soon and I'm new to it and I learned sum thing here
Right on! Have so much fun!
@@punishedprops thanks
awesome project! makes me want to make hanzos shoes from OW
Do eeeeeet :)
awesome
Great video. You really need a twitch link in description, though.
Good thinking! Added. twitch.tv/punishedprops
see, the strapping and stuff is really useful! i find most people don't cover how to do that! i'll be using the nylon webbing technique from now on!
Wow, cool!! Britt, you're so good - it looks so easy when you're working with EVA foam :)
Any chance you've done a warlock helmet and have a video? :)
Thanks! We haven't made a warlock. Maybe after we play Destiny 2 :)
You are amazing artist.
Awww thanks!
@@punishedprops Punished Props Academy Can I ask a question I need some advice. About making head & feet for a Krook from Donkey Kong Country 2
you are the best !
yay
Hi I have a question for you I do love the boots ,would you think that they could be used in my build (Cylon centurion ) the lower level is very basic I just finished the leg bans that are be teen the ankle and knee but for feet that's were they didn't pay to munch atention? I would like your opinion on this.
Hey! I was wondering if you sell these templates anywhere... The feet here would be perfect for a costume I'm rebuilding and I could really use a hand. Thanks!
personally i wouldve used a pair of sturdy heeled boots and removed the heel for the empty heel effect, or even made a clear heel our of acrylic so it couldve been more comfortable to walk in
That's a great option too!
Awesome costume. May I ask , You said about link in description for online templates , where is it ? Also Your handheld dremel part is way different from the one in video. Is it some custom made grip or purchasable upgrade part ?
Thanks in advance, have a great day ;) !
Are you talking about the template maker for the cone shapes? We have a link towards the bottom of the description: www.templatemaker.nl/index.php?template=cone&lang=en
The rotary tool in the video is actually the Foredom rotary tool, which can be found here: amzn.to/2TI5Gj7
❤
Can you tell me what the insoles are like on those shoes? Most sip-ons I find are the foam insoles which my feet destroy in like a month but I need something like those for one of my current projects.
The insoles seem good so far--we'll see how they fair at a convention. We tend to buy a pair of fancy insoles that we move between cosplay shoes.
How do you make mech legs and arms stay in place?
How would you go about making a megaman boot that is flexible to walk in
this would great for making Tracer's shoes
I agree!
7:37 Did I just hear a possible marriage dispute? :O I know from the Joel + Bill Videos that he really likes his CA ;)
Hahaha, each kind of glue can be a superstar in a specific situation :)
woooooooow
Could you explain what you meant with some velcro or elastic fabric not taking the hot glue like a champ? Please explain....
Elastic and stretchy materials can peel away from hot glue. Here's a more detailed video on adding straps to armor with nylon webbing and elastic: ruclips.net/video/8_qxMULsR1c/видео.html
You guys should do a stormtrooper
