plan on showing this to our new officers, make sure you keep doing more videos about contraband please!! there's hundreds of things to tell. Stay safe brother
I will work on that request.
Russ, Very informative and educational. Thank you very much
This is the great knowledge we need to keep sharing to new staff!
Good communication with your fellow officers can help you narrow down a search, a lot of day shifters notice or observe a lot of actions/behaviors night shifters won't. and vice versa
I feel so special lol thank you guys for making this and helping out! I will definitely let you guys know what I find in my coming shifts!
Sarah Cianfaglione Looking forward to your stories
I wanted to say your last name Sarah...but was afraid I'd get it wrong...!
Russ Hamilton lol no worries. Everyone just calls me “C”
im going to be going through training in April :) What did you find in the hide and seek game?
Just found a tattoo gun today. I was doing my safety round, piped the ‘tit’ and all of the sudden I hear BZZZZZZZ , I’m like what the hell is that ? I went to the room where the sound was coming from and guess what , the guy was getting a tattoo done as I was doing my round…. Damn these guys have no shame
Great information!! Im new to corrections and this kind of information just plain helps! Hopefully this speeds up my learning curve!
sc2461 welcome to the profession
Body language been really good for me. Some reason been able to read guys faces really well maybe like you said gut instincts. I do a lot watching who inmates talk to and try myself to link everything together. Really important not to create patterns. Inmates learn when is good time use cell phone or charge the phone. Change things up. Try catch them off guard.
Great video think I would enjoyed working with you think we could worked good together.
I agree. I think we can learn a lot from each other and enjoy doing it. That is the key. Enjoy what you do with good people. I would be honored to walk a tier with you and so would Russ
The scariest sound I ever heard in any prison I worked was silence!
Very scary
Thank you for the knowledge.
I'm an ex-con and now I don't fuck around anymore and so I can now appreciate yr msg
I appreciate that Mark. Thank you for your comment
Thanks Russ!
Had my first shift last night 1st watch in West Block. Hope to get days soon. Thanks for the intel.
The staff are the ones that's bringing it in.
Sadly..it is because we have inmates that know how to manipulate
@@TierTalk Sadly, because the staff are CORRUPT and are CRIMINALS too, so STOP making EXCUSES!
@@sistersister220980% of the staff that gets arrested for bringing in contraband are females…. So lets talk about that. Then a lot of the “staff” are secretly gang members. Aint no Police Police officer bring contraband in cuz the inmates will cal that out in a instant and snitch….
Thanks for the info! I'm a new C.O. with CDCR. I will try these tips and hopefully find that contraband!

interesting thing about inmates hiding contraband in food. Many officers never care to check food being exchanged between inmates
Bones98 I agree. That is a video worth doing
Are you allowed to do that? I thought using mirrors and such were designated to certain staff members.
Any search team should be given mirrors so they can look at those tough areas
Inmates sure are silly😊 shanking each other! Why can't they Just play nice?
What a life. Living to make other people's life bad.
living to baby sit you and give you some structure that you can't seem to maintain when you out in society and not break the law and victimize innocent people. That's the job in a nutshell. best of luck to you.
