You did nothing but pre make your pipe work then undo this that n the other with no explanations of what you were doing, only good thing was the tip at the end about the maf education, other than that it was a waste of time !!

I considered putting a cold air intake kit on my police car. I talked to the techs at an independent shop that services our police cars and the techs that work in my Agency's motor pool and both sets of techs convinced me it's a waste of money.

With a turbo its not worth it, if its a turbo police car i bet it isnt, just basing off the explorer the 3.5L v6 sport has a twin turbo, im guessing the 3.7L v6 of a police utility (they say it makes less) might not have that twin turbo so in that case sure, but if it has a turbo your right. Plus police cars usually make more horse (although carry more weight, which is why a explorer sport will outrun the same but police version utility) 💀

Hey man, just bought an ALAVENTE cold air intake. It doesn’t have a port for the sensor plug in. What do I do about that?? It’s for my 2014 Mazda 3

hey man, wow it's been a long time. On the cold air intake is it worth putting on a Mazda3 with 70K miles on it? Can you tell the difference or is it a numbers thing? thanks

Absolutely worth it. For a smaller 4 cylinder I would suggest a ram-air intake so that you don't lose all of your low end torque, but still get the benefits of better high RPM flow. You will hear and feel the difference, especially if it is a manual. Though not "life changing" by any means, it is definitely worth the time and the money. You won't be disappointment.
