Hi! I'm going to keep this blunt and short. I have a calling of some kind on my life and I say this humbly, but I also believe that I'm annointed by God. For the past three years I have been extremely distracted, lazy and as you're saying, complacent. When I pick up my Bible, I become distracted or tired and lay it down. I've had a "I'll read it later" mentality. I don't want to go in this direction anymore! I really do desire to draw nearer to God and to let Christ be Christ in me the hope of glory. Social media is a big problem, and I do believe that it would be a good thing to remove it from my life at least for a time. All that to say, please pray for me. Pray that I can discipline myself, submit myself to God, and resist anything and everything that is not of Him. Thank you!!!

Thank you for sharing your story, I know building discipline can be difficult but its not impossible. I would suggest getting off of SM for some time, and refocus on what matters. Start with being consistent in simple tasks. Read the word, and pray. Do this daily and see what God does in your life.
